Let’s see you draw that ire to FSU’s Mike Norvell.
Kid came back and actually played in the fourth quarter after a properly called targeting.

I mean... I didn't see the hit on Rodemaker. I would still argue that player safety concerns have to be carried into post-play. Targeting is a penalty to protect players. What are we doing to protect players from continuing to play until they have been truly verified after the play. They could absolutely take a drive to validate... LSU took 1 play.

The replay showed Rodemaker's eyes when he was laying on the ground after the hit. He wasn't completely knocked out, but he definitely didn't know exactly where he was there for a second.

Rules are 1 play.
Jayden didn’t actually take another snap. This kid came back during the same drive (a few plays after from what I recall) and finished the game.

I think that was the smart call, from a player safety standpoint, for LSU. He clearly didn't need to be in the game, so they removed him... but from the way he looked coming to, standing on, and leaving the field, he never should have come back on the field.
FSU, from a player safety standpoint, made an even worse call if he came back and finished the game. This puts game results over player safety.
I personally want the players to be safe, but its a fine line between player safety and ruining what the SEC loved about football for so long. I miss the days of more aggressive defense, and big hits (as long as nobody was injured).

Milroe has been hit several times just like that this season. Good news is UGA isnt very good at rushing the passer

Oh, and there's this classic! Why wasn't he a man? Why wouldn't he just walk it off? Why was he so soft?

Think he's still playing this year. What about this guy?

Too had the hit on Gayden Daniels wasn't targeting, count.
Bama fans: “It wasn’t targeting”
Everyone else: “It was textbook targeting”
ALWAYS go with the lower IQ in situations like this. I trust subhuman Bama fans with my whole heart.

Only people saying targeting are LSU fans. Literally a non-story everywhere else in the country

All that matters is the SEC Office told you it wasnt targeting

BATON ROUGE — The SEC has reaffirmed its belief that Alabama edge rusher Dallas Turner's hit on Jayden Daniels during the fourth quarter of last Saturday's game between LSU football and Alabama was not targeting, coach Brian Kelly said Thursday.
"They felt like the play did not reach their definition of targeting," Kelly said.

What do people have to gain from claiming the Daniels hit was targeting, the game is over and before he left they were down 14 points

Milroe has been hit like that but Milroe isn’t frail.

Another frail LSU QB. Guy is injury prone.
