Sorry but SC won't be punished regardless of what happens with Saunders. Weak flame attempt on your part.

Honestly though... Something needs to be done about agents. Those MF'ers are getting schools in trouble by preying on kids who see dollar signs!

Herschel Walker and the 83 UGA team agree with this

Here's my original post you took offense to:

"Actually I might feel bad for South Carolina - getting caught/punished for cheating should be reserved for programs that have some success

Punishing South Carolina is like busting the 50th place finisher in the Tour De France for drug use"

I didn't say they cheated - but IMO it would be sad if a program that doesn't have much success did cheat because they didn't even get any return.

I don't care enough about South Carolina to flame them

I didn't take offense. Was just an incorrect statement.

We did get caught cheating before in the early '60s and lost what would've been an ACC title.

Don't worry, if you get anything dealt from the NCAA then you cheated. Saban didn't make those players get free textbooks and no one even knew it was happening and we self reported when we found out, but we were still labeled cheaters again for that.

no, you inferred it was a statement of guilt

It was a hypothetical - getting caught would suck if you were USCe because you see shite in return as well as get caught cheating

Getting caught cheating if you were USCw sucks because you got caught - but you saw some success along the way

Florida is internally investigating what sources described as an allegation that a representative of an agent paid Pouncey $100,000 between the Gators' loss to Alabama in the Southeastern Conference championship game to Alabama and their season-ending Sugar Bowl victory over Cincinnati. Florida apprised the NCAA of the allegation after it became aware of it.

I wonder if this Pouncey situation was the reason/cause of Urbans misery/illness?

Florida's complience office made the NCAA aware of a $100,000 exchange to a student athelete?

And you think they aren't going to get in serious trouble for that?

to see improvement? IMO yes

Unless the cheating is over the top it won't bring you to the top of the mountain (at least in the short term)

IMO MSU, KY, USCe could cheat their asses off in football and would still lose most of the time to the top SEC programs

It's been pretty well documented that Meyer did in fact have a medical condition which caused chest pain closely resembling heart trouble.

Worked pretty well for Clemson. Their only national title they got put on probation shortly after.

Made the NCAA aware of a "possible" payment of $100,000.

Both UF and the Florida Dept of Law Enforcement are still investigating, and I'm sure the NCAA will get in on it now as well.

This is still in the allegation and investigation stage. We won't know for sure what happened for a while I would imagine.

ya, another good example is Colorado - stuff they did to get recruits for their NC in 90 or 91 was pretty over the top I guess

Clemson has some advantages tho - they are the name program in a very talent rich state

South Carolina is the little brother

aiight.

I bet once Urban was informed about the Pouncey situation, he about stroked out. I know I would have.

Self reporting isn't some cure all. We self report everything That's why I laugh at USC's naive tough guy act, pretty soon when the NCAA comes calling they'll come running and kneel and roll over, etc.

But the main thing that Florida fans should worry about is now the NCAA's going to start investigating them, something else could easily come up.
