All that Florida must do is go to confession and Have Tim Tebow provide absolution. No one will overcome Jesus Himself. Pretty Boy Tebow and his dad..er..Meyer is not going to do any time. Trust me...the NCAA is going to look the other way if these findings are true.

UF and SC on the other hand the case doesn't seem very serious. I hope they don't get hammered because they're SEC schools.

Screw that, I won't lose sleep if they get hammered

Actually I might feel bad for South Carolina - getting caught/punished for cheating should be reserved for programs that have some success

Punishing South Carolina is like busting the 50th place finisher in the Tour De France for drug use

If they go the obstructionist route then there's danger

I agree. They self reported to the NCAA. The NCAA will rule him ineligible and force FLA to vacate the Sugar Bowl. In the grand scheme of things, not a big deal at all.

I don't know, depends on if they knew about it when they played Pouncey in the sugar bowl. If they did and the NCAA finds out about it, they will get in some trouble, if not they probably won't other than having to vacate the win. Never want the NCAA snooping around. Supposedly we didn't know about Antonio Langham signing that contract on a napkin, but the NCAA decided we did.

Self reported thank god!

Too bad on the Sugar Bowl though. I'm sure it'll get vacated.

Man that game was hilarious to watch. Cinci had about as much chance as a midget fighting a lion.

this is why NCAA dropped the hammer on Southern Cal to make an example out of them. if they showed mercy to USC and let them get off, agents would have a field day with college athletes from now on.

No big deal. We found out and reported it. If we tried to hide it, then it's a big deal.

Honestly though... Something needs to be done about agents. Those MF'ers are getting schools in trouble by preying on kids who see dollar signs!

The NCAA is always way more lenient when you self report. And nothing has been proven yet.

If you think SC has been cheating you haven't been keeping up.

I think what most people don't understand about the NCAA is that it is not a legal system. You are inclined to say "well, the rules say you have to do this to get in trouble, but we didn't do that, so we won't get in trouble." Well, not so fast. Rule of law doesn't apply to the NCAA. If you are blatantly innocent and they feel like they need to punish you to save face or set an example, you are getting punished, and you have no legal recourse, as your appeal goes to the very same people who handed down your punishment. It is a ridiculous organization and the sooner it is dismantled, the better.

Self-reported, huh?

Sounds like somebody is in for a stern talking-to from Urby.

God forbid, the first quarter against Miami OH.
