That Shaun was a coveted recruit who did not go to the closest SEC school.
UK would have loved some Shaun Alexander.

No school gets all the best players from thier state.
LSU probably does the best percentage wise, but Texas and Florida have way too much talent for any one school.
I bet A&M's 2014 recruiting class will be the best in its history and much better than the Longhorns class.

It's to be seen how they actually develop and play.
Just remember, Georgia as a state has way more talent than Alabama does and UGA still is considered standard deviation beneath Alabama in performance.
ie, Recuiting 'stars' isn't everything.

Coaches come and go, but in-state talent levels remain the same.
I don't understand why Richt has never produced a really great defense at Georgia. He knows offense, but can't find a really good defensive coordinator for some reason.

I envy Mark Richt's job security.
If I performed the way he has I have a feeling I would have been fired.

Mark Richt can thank Steve Spurrier, Urban Meyer, and LSU for keeping his job at Georgia.
Both Spurrier and Meyer left the talent cupboard empty before leaving Florida, and LSU keeps winning 50% of their yearly non-divisional games against Florida since 2000.

Wait, so the response to the bitching equals UF getting Bama earlier than we should have considering we had them recently???
Sounds fair to me.
Sounds fair to me.

If Bama gets Florida in 2014, then A&M will surely get Georgia and South Carolina in 2014.
I wonder how long it will take Florida before they get their fill of LSU and Bama or TAM for non-divisional matchups.
When the SEC goes to 6-2-1, Florida starts getting LSU, Bama and TAM all in one season--Wow!
I can just hear the Florida fans yelling "Slam-Bam-Thank-You-Ma'am" at every one of those games.

We've had some bad defenses under Richt, but I'd argue Offensive Line play has been a more consistent source of frustration for Dawg fans during Richt's tenure.

it boggles the mind that UGA is where it is.
I feel like i'm taking crazy pills because I keep hearing people say Richt is a good coach.

So?
People forget we were playing Bama, Auburn, AND LSU all in the same year quite a bit.

Florida even got a warm up game before playing A&M. Why do you think that was fair to the Aggies?
Their 1st game got screwed by weather moron.
You think the SEC can just say "LETS GET A frickING HURRICANE INTO LOUISIANA" the first week of the season to screw A&M over?

11 and 12 would beat the shite out of them.
09 would be a bit of a better game but they would still win in the end. Imo

Bama, LSU, and A&M are the present day equivalent of Miami, Nebraska, and Florida St. of the 80's and 90's
And add Florida St., Georgia, South Carolina and the soon to be powerhouse Tennessee.

Holy shite dude, are you still obsessed with this schedule thing? Who gives a frick. We beat you in BR last year, and we are going to beat you in Tuscaloosa this year. Get over it.

Since 1991...That is not an arbitrary date
Those two statements are not compatible.
Another flaw in your reasoning is that Bama was suffering from the effects of major probation throughout most of the early to mid 2000s. If you take the year that Bama came off of their sanctions in 2004, Bama and UF have the same number of wins, the same number of SEC championships, and Bama has one more BCSNC (and that is still counting a couple years where Bama was suffering the effects of the sanctions).

Florida fans can't wait for the 6-2-1 with LSU, Bama, and TAM all in the same year. They are going to simply love it.

This one cannot help himself. I for one believe it to be a conspiracy to generate more posts on this website. Afterall, it has been forever since we played UF right?
