Well we hired him as an LB coach that will help with scheme. Austin Armstrong is fairly good at play calling so hopefully they can positively impact each other

Hopefully this will be Florida's year to beat LSU.

He knows he won't be able to stop NICO anyway, so why try?

But why? What are the benefits of doing this? UF fans are the only program that I’ve seen talk (complain) about a setup like this

hy haven't the experts put LSU higher up if LSU fans are saying LSU will win more games this coming season? LSU stole Drinkwitz DC and DL coach. Still the experts didn't place LSU higher up over teams like Ole Miss and Mizzou. What is the main reason for that? I would go with the HC. It starts with the HC. Drinkwitz didn't lose any sleep over the FC and DL coach. I am glad LSU overpay those two to get them.
still butt hurt and obsessed with LSU I see lol

Nobody cares about LSU.

Nobody is 'obsessed'. Except maybe for obsessed with laughing at you.

LSU is still rebuilding their defense, so the experts are waiting to see how the worst defense LSU has ever fielded does.

Also, Mizzou fans should sit out all convos about LSU. Y'all lost to last year's team on your home field.

No offense, but Raymond has not been all that impressive to me. Don't misunderstand, he can recruit on a high level, but the secondaries he coaches look lost and inept. They struggle to cover or tackle. Even when he was at LSU the last couple of years it was awful.

I could only think that when his secondaries were good, it was because of the raw talent he recruited, and not because he was a good coach. Maybe i am wrong, but that is just what it seemed to me.

They let Corey go for this guy? What a joke hire by Billy. Nobody wants to coach with that dumpster fire.

Did you happen to notice that the barn's DC quit his job to join Billy Napier's Gator club?

The only years you could consider his LSU secondaries "bad" were his last 2 under Orgeron. His move to UF was strange. Was never sure how he was going to put together the caliber of recruiting classes he got to LSU.

Having good players is like 90% of coaching secondary.

Right back at you. A number of LSU fans said losing Raymond was no big deal back in 2022. It's almost like message board takes don't mean shite...shocking.

How mad do you get when an off-field analyst is hired at your school?

Because Florida just can't seem to find a way to beat Tennessee, can they?

people that aren't plugged into Gator football shouldn't have an opinion of Gator football.

I mean, he went to LSU in 2012 and was the defensive backs coach and then was demoted to cornerbacks coach in 2017. That would indicate a problem with his coaching right there. Admittedly, I don't know all of the ins and outs, but your secondary seemed completely lost the last two years he was with LSU. I mean...completely lost giving up huge plays with no players anywhere near the receivers.
Once he went to Florida it didn't seem to get any better, and Florida and LSU has a history of having great defensive backfields.

This is not a shot at LSU. It is a shot at Raymond.

As a former Safety I would disagree with you wholeheartedly. It definitely helps to have talent, but if a coach doesn't teach solid technique a good receiver will eat his lunch.

The thought processes of some of these Tennessee fans is amazing.
