Most consecutive wins over an opponent in an uninterrupted series

Streak:
43 Notre Dame over Navy 1964-2006

36 Nebraska over Kansas 1969-2004

32 Oklahoma over Kansas State 1937-1968

30 Florida over Kentucky 1987-current

29 Nebraska over Kansas State 1969-1997

28 Texas over Rice 1966-1993

26 Syracuse over Hobart 1906-1931

26 Tennessee over Kentucky 1985-2010

What do the Cats have to do to break it?

Not throw pick 6's and defend the hail mary properly, since that's about the only way UF knows how to score.

At this point...who knows.

You'd think they would have done it the last few years with UF being down and them being far better than they used to be. Yet. Hasn't.

Doubt it changes soon. Mac sucks. Verse elite teams. He does very well at beating teams with less blue chips, one with a worse head coach(Butch, Ed O)

Well remember, we played better teams too. Add in our defense can outscore your offense. So not to worried. We always seem to score a ton on UK

I'm not gonna pick us to win until we finally do. This year is the most promising chance we've had in a while but I'll believe it when I see it.

Speaking of. I'm reminded of the game a few years ago when they won at the swamp but the refs let Florida get a play off with play clock expired or something like that. The Demarcus Robinson game. Closest chance they had in years

Yeah we had that game won, still needed our defender to keep the guy from scoring which he couldn't do. Sucks.

Should've ended in 93 or 94... terry dean and wuerffel bombed in like 7 ints that day. I remember listening to that shite fest on the radio with my old man. Went to the game the next year, uk got plowed like 73-7

IMO, Navy's stop of ND's two point conversion in 2007 was one of the great moments in recent college football history

Is a Kentucky fan really trying to act confident vs UF?

Did you not see how long it's been? This isn't basketball. I'd try to be a little less bravado. Consider...well you know...we absolutely own you more than any team owns another currently in CFB.

93 - 6 INT but Wuerffel hit Chris Doering with the winning TD pass

After that Spurrier made a point of putting his heel on Bill Curry's throat and grinding it into his windpipe

Probably need a wide receiver playing at quarterback to break the streak.

But seriously, there have been a few close ones like 93, I think a few during the Zook era when we had Jared Lorenzen throwing and Derek Abney running back kicks. 2007 we trailed the whole game but matched the Gators score for score. 2015 with the clock controversy.

It's going to take solid, confident, football on offense, defense, and special teams and probably a couple of breaks going our way. That's it

It's embarrassing as a UK fan. There have been a lot of meh Florida teams during those years as well.

Double check the clock operator.

That one was the worst for sure. We have had several other close calls with Florida including the Wuerffel to Doering TD in 93. Happened right in front of me. saw it all the way.

They also had a close game in I think 01 or 02, and Lorenzen made a bad decision in the 4th quarter, and threw a pass when he was being sacked, and it was intercepted and Florida scored a couple of plays later to end the game.
