First thing I look for on a college football team as a measure of success is the tenure of the OL

Does tenure not include a lot of starting experience iyo?

Depth is either a concern or it isn't... Just because you do or don't have injuries doesn't change whether you have sufficient depth or not. It seems that the general opinion of UF fans other than bait08 is that you don't have depth concerns. This would imply that barring some freak string of accidents taking you to starting someone who was a low 3rd, high 4th string player to start the season, you're comfortable with your starters and their immediate backups.

Nearly every team in college football is in for a world of hurt if their starting QB goes down. FWIW, sounds like Stetson Bennett has actually outperformed Fromm on a few occasions this fall. I'm more comfortable with our backup than I expected to be at least. I still don't want to have to test those waters, but by all accounts, he's been better than anticipated. Behind that, no clue... Mathis isn't cleared for contact due to brain surgery... then a bunch of walkons. You hear buzz that they play well, but it's always qualified "for a walk-on"...

Even with Fields last year, we'd have been in a bucket of trouble if Fromm had gone down for any significant time... it was obvious he wasn't ready yet.

But we weren't in a bucket of trouble when Eason went down
