Football isn't on, hard to watch. And no, that is not most teams in America.

We fortunately have some great Safeties that can slide over to CB if the freshman don't pan out.
I just mentioned that in the other thread.
Likewise: Trey Dean started almost all year last year at CB, so if he needs to slide over he absolutely can as well. Burney was training in STAR and Middle LB (coverage) last year and is ready to fill in that position this year.
The Freshmen CBs are also much better than McWilliams and Burney would have likely gotten snaps over Huggins -- but I digress.
We're making up problems because this off-season has been relatively quiet for upperclassmen which is way different than other years so we have to make these fake concerns to have an interesting off-season.
ETA: We have four safeties who have all had significant playing time and snaps who could easily move into STAR even if both cornerbacks got hurt.
Worst case scenario is Henderson and Wilson go down -- Dean takes over one, the other is filled by a highly rated Kaiir Elam. That's not so bad.
Even in the worst of scenarios we still have enough DBs to at least hold our own.

Looks good to me! Going to be a special year for the Gators.

I like our chances.

Looks like a Mark Richt team circa 2013.
It didn’t matter what the depth chart looked like this was going to be your response.

I mean I can post 10 more articles about the corner depth worry. Straws is always sky is blue, which I respect but it doesn't mean it's reality. Forever never actually talks football, just trolls. So don't expect him to agree with anything just to start fights. Corner depth is an absolute worry.

Yeah, the guy shitting on Franks all the time is definitely sky blue.
I was fricking right about Burney and called it a month ago before anyone even considered it because I knew he played safety in high school but you want to be the new TJ by all means.
This road doesn't go anywhere good.

You can point to articles all you want. The media is incorrect 9 out of 10 times. You can look at the depth yourself and look at our depth at Safety and realize it's not as bad as you make it sound.
Or you can just be an arrogant dick and continue to troll.
Or just stop posting, like we've asked you repeatedly. It's embarrassing having a Florida "fan" be this dumb.

That’s a great wr unit. If franks can’t succeed with that position group he should switch to baseball.

How am I being TJ? I said our secondary has depth issues. Just because I disagree with you doesn't mean I am that Taggart lover. I'm saying you are wrong. The secondary is very thin. Franks is also better than Trask.

You were a Chip Kelly lover. Which may be worse given what he’s doing at UCLA. Taggert was closer to making a bowl game.

It is as bad as it sounds. It doesn't mean it cost us the season, but it's incredibly worrisome. Just like the Oline depth is worrisome.
Injuries happen. Frequently. Assuming multiple freshman can go on an island in Grantham's defense is baffling. Thinking the 2nd string in a defense predicated on 1 on 1 coverage being all freshman isn't a concern is just lacking basic football knowledge. Grantham's defense is all about corners. When it failed at UGA, it's because they didn't have great corners. If we end up with Wilson hurt and Henderson just like last year, we have a very big problem. The safeties aren't moving over hopefully, none of them are elite in coverage. You want them to cover WR's when they struggle with TE's? Really?
Dean is the only option to move over and truly be good enough to cover in his system vs an elite SEC WR.
Keep on with you bullshite though.

I'm more concerned about OL depth than secondary depth, but both are then.

There’s not much I can do about the depth, so

It is a stout group and senior players, it wont translate much from last year though. Again, I see swing/short passes and Perine running his arse off

Truer words have not been spoken.
Tell this dolt to stop posting and just enjoy some football this Saturday. Too much to get worked up about.

I actually took your advice and turned on one hour football. Watching USCe vs Tenn last year.
