Murphy might give them some life. They have UK and Arkansas to find out.

It's probably going to depend more on Murphy and the O than LSU's D. He looked really good against UT but he was 3rd or 4th string for a reason. Maybe Pease simply dropped the ball on that one, it happens.

We'll see. In 2011, Brissett had a week to prepare for LSU.

Murphy has a road game @ UK, and a home game vs. Arky before the LSU game.

With or without Easley, the UF defense is way better than it was in 2011. Your offense will still have to score, and it won't be tested until yall play us.

Not really. Mississippi State will be a nice tune up for our offense. They've got a pretty good D.

Very confident in our offense this year.

it's like clockwork

downplay the other teams players through the season then talk them up when they leave for the NFL and they have to replace them.

rinse and repeat.

This is the worst possible person we could lose on the entire team. Son of a fricking bitch. SOrry for the language. I'm just exhausted from these injuries at this point. How many damn players can one team lose, seriously. What did we do to get this massive injury bug.

Either way...still not worried about UK :P

Whatever chance we had of getting to Atlanta just went out the window. Our defense won't be the best in CFB without him.

Remind me not to be in a foxhole with you when the chips are down...geez louise. We do have some other players...relax. Don't kneejerk.

Man down...man up.

Whoever upvoted this is terrible. How'd you like it if your team lost their best pass rusher and most emotional player?

I see the downvotes and am guessing that the upvotes were thanking the OP for sharing the news.

Fans of other teams haven't been as respectful now that Easley is gone.

That sucks. LSU fans are the worst. Wow. I would never cheer if an LSU player went down. UF will continue its dominance w/o DE2. Ropo and TM3 and Co. got to step up. They will make Mett fold.

Dude, are you really that obtuse. That's not an LSU fan you replied to. And no LSU fan in this thread has cheered at the news of his injury. Only a couple, myself included, were perturbed at Easley's hatred of the south.

Reading is fundamental.

Now how do you feel?

Sure you could...

LSU's D ranks 24th in total Defense, and we have already played teams ranking 18, 82, and 88 (losing to Miami because of 5 turnovers) so we have already faced a better Defense than what you have.

LSU has faced the teams ranking 57, 90, 95, and 104.....we're ranked #2 in the country.

We have faced, and beat, your Defense before....and you're nowhere near as good as last year.

We will take a step back losing Easley, but we will still be the best you've faced, might be the best you play all year.

Underestimate us.....please. I live in Louisiana and would LOVE to see some Tiger tears
