Seeing that image just gave me a delayed hangover from tWLOCP and the party that was thrown on St. Simons that night

1942: 75 and oh!
Having lost most upper-class players to service in World War II, the 1942 Florida Gators brought an inexperienced 3–4 squad into Jacksonville for the 1942 contest with Georgia.[9][10][32] The Bulldogs, on the other hand, still had many veteran players thanks to the draft deferments of the players who were enrolled in the University of Georgia's ROTC program, and brought a 7–0 record and No. 1 ranking to Jacksonville.[32]

Georgia halfback Charley Trippi and Heisman Trophy-winning back Frank Sinkwich combined to score seven touchdowns as Georgia crushed Florida 75–0—the largest margin in series history.[9][10][33] The Bulldogs finished the regular season 10–1, won the Southeastern Conference championship, defeated the UCLA Bruins 9–0 in the Rose Bowl, and were named national champions by multiple polls and ratings services.[34][35] Meanwhile, the depleted Gators[36] did not win another game during the 1942 season, and with even more players joining the war effort afterward, would not field a team at all in 1943.

I mean, congrats on the big time win but I wouldn't thump my chest so much over your team being full of pussies while Gators were fighting in World War II.

It's a good thing MSST and Georgia are comparable places, because it makes it a lot easier to judge a coach's capacity.

Do you think the same outcome would have happened if Mullen was coaching Georgia and Smart was coaching MSST?

Discuss.

Do you hear Bama players saying this?

Did you hear us last year? And I guarantee you, that team knew they were going to kick arse that season. Talk to anyone who had an eye in fall practices.

He's got three guys at media days and he can't keep them from giving bulletin board material. Keep your confidence to yourself. Talk on the field.

Nope, but UF roster wise is whole lot closer to MSU right now than UGA. Almost as good as MSU.

It is common, not widespread, but this certainly didn't warrant another shitty djsdawg thread.

Lets see how many players say something like the 2 gators did this week. I doubt its as common as you think.

Can't be a dj thread without ridiculously tight framing.

Certainly can't be a dj thread without him simply assuming what you're arguing instead of just reading. I said right there, right there: It's not widespread, but certainly not newsworthy or outrageously rare.

Maybe next time take this garbage to the Georgia board, because I know this is going to shock you: But people don't care about Georgia nearly as much as you do.

Hard to talk shite with 38 years of coming up short.

And don't give me this "we're above it" nonsense since everytime someone says something about Georgia that isn't in a positive light we need Georgia fans to come whine about it all over tRant.

What happened to the CFN board? Did they go somewhere else? Can't find it.

That doesnt begin to make any sense. If only champs talk trash, then UF should be among the last talking trash in 2018. Most would cringe if their players did that, but of course straws approves. Such a homer.

Using your champs talk trash logic, we should expect Bama players running around making similar proclamations before the week ends, but I doubt it happens.

Guess they got out of the message board biz. It was terribly run, so maybe it was a good thing.
