The ‘93 Florida game is the loudest I’ve ever heard Jordan-Hare as well. People were stomping on their seats and screaming nonstop. It felt like the superstructure of the stadium would buckle a few times when it got loud while we were on defense. Crazy good game. Playing Florida more often is one of the only good things about the recent expansion.

In our SEC Title year of 1987 we had to play FSU right there in the middle of Amen Corner and they face planted us on the way to a final ranking of #2.

I'm convinced we win 2 National Championships in 80's if Emmitt would have come to Auburn. We had a couple of good running backs in those years (87-89) but not like Emmitt. Oh what could have been.

Emmitt is the most famous alumni of my H.S. (Escambia/Pensacola).
