Okay. If you were in the room, then there would be no harm in telling us. It's not like you would be outing a source if you were the source, and since Fields has left and gone to OSU.....

FYI, we have picked up the pace with SEC Media days upon us and are nearing 100 pages. I am starting to feel a small (and strange) sense of accomplishment.
I actually think that is why a lot of people still post in this thing. To see how far it can go and how long it will last.

I’m sure Dan has told some lies, I don't think he uses lying as a major part of his recruiting like Kirby does though. Kirby is a salesman, when shite hits the fan he goes to sell mode which works in the short term. It’s only a matter of time before he burns to many bridges and recruits and parents start seeing through it though. Just my opinion.
Classic. "We do bad things too, but we're classy about it... it doesn't define us. But our rivals... they're real shite bags about it."

Are you trying to make the argument that all coaches recruit the same way? If you are I would respectfully disagree. Mullen is a shite recruiter for a reason. He doesn’t stroke these kids egos and tell them what they want to hear.

Is that what I said? I don't believe I did, but please let me know where you got the impression.

Yeah... he's awkward, doesn't relate well to them, and has a very formulaic approach to things that doesn't resonate well with everyone...

This is just horse shite. LITERALLY every coach has to play to kids egos to some degree or another. With every recruit, the approach is different. For instance, Wren... We didn't feed him bullshite about competing for the starting job on day 1... why? Because it would be exactly that. He knows and we know he's a project at WR coming from a veer offense. Kirby isn't doing anything on the trail, fundamentally, that every other elite coach in America isn't doing... he's telling kids what he likes about them, where they fit into what we do, how he feels he would approach their development and goals... He may have a better staff to help facilitate things, better approach to individual recruits, attention to detail, etc... But no... at it's core, recruiting is selling your program... Anything else is missing the point. And you can sell without being a liar.
But the distinction between "recruiting differently" is understanding what approach works for which recruits, who needs to hear what, what their priorities are, etc. That's what ultimately helps set great recruiters apart.
There are plenty of articles with recruits and their parents being interviewed as well as current players that literally will speak to the opposite of what you're describing. By all reasonably connected accounts, Kirby's pitch is pretty simple with most athletes... you're going to get a shot and we're going to work to get you to your best - what you make of that is up to you. The players that put in the work and show the best stuff in practice are going to earn the majority of snaps. It's not rocket science.

I have some ocean front property in Nebraska to sell you if you honestly believe Kirby is landing these classes recruiting the same way everyone else is. He’s a lying sack of shite. That’s okay though it will all come out in the end. I’ll be here to say I told you so. Your Coach is an ignorant tool that can barely speak English. Coach O might have more IQ points. Who the hell runs a fake punt on 4th and 12 with your star backup QB. Lol I can’t wait for The cocktail party this year.

I'm assuming much like your "super close to the Fields situation" you have no way of providing sourced materials for how Kirby is such a bad guy. If you can share, please do. I'm quite certain the entire board would enjoy the content.

He just pays their daddys.

Didn't the dude who took some kind of immunity deal and testified against Ole Miss basically self implicate Miss St and Mullen to some degree as well? I seem to remember Ole Miss fans running around these boards and yelling and pointing around that time.
Mullen's just squeaky clean though. He had nothing to do with bringing in the trash to UF during the Urban era, nothing to do with Cam Newton coming and going from UF, nothing to do with the requested payment from Cecil Newton, etc... Salt of the earth, only tells the truth, consequences be damned.

I asked you once and I will ask you again. Are you personally aware of any lies he has told recruits? if so, please tell us what he said and to whom. Also, please tell us how you came across this information. Oh, and, I saw it on the Gator recruiting board doesn't count as a great source.

Pretty sure he did. Maybe that is what the gator meant when he said Smart doesn't recruit like everybody else? Kirby doesn't pay their daddys?

Why what’s the point? So you can make excuses for those lies too? Just like you do for Fields. I’ll save my breath and let you worship Kirby. You’ll find out he’s a glorified gym teacher with good bag men soon anyway.

I hope so. But for your teams sake you better hope Mullen doesn’t start recruiting the same talent as Kirby. That would be unfair for Kirby.

He’s not a bad guy he’s just a bad football coach that has to cheat to have a chance.

I am amazed at how many times you are in the room with recruits when Kirby Smart goes to tak to them. Can you take me with you one time? I'd like to see how it plays out. I won't say anything. I promise.

But does he pay recruits daddys? I know for a fact that Mullen does, but I can't tell you how I know. For all you know I was right there in the room when Mullen gave Cecil Newton the bag of cash!

Mullen doesn’t start recruiting the same talent as Kirby
Do you mean "successfully recruiting the same talent level" or are you implying that Mullen doesn't go after any of the same players...
The former is unlikely given his historical recruiting success... it would seemingly take a pretty massive shift for Mullen to start recruiting to that standard.
The latter would just be odd... given that we've gone head to head for recruits and won more often than lost already.
