Let's make a chart:

4H SEC games
1H ACC team
2H (games 11 & 12)

5H SEC games
2H (games 11 & 12)

So, these 4 schools would have to ALWAYS host games 11 & 12...thereby never being able to visit anybody NOT SEC or 1 ACC team.

So to fix this would be.....?

Well yeah, those would be the rent-a-win games that every schools buys every year. Those are 100% of the time at home.

Yeah Bama/Tennessee is a real barn burner

It's up there with watching BAMA beat LSU and most of everyone else they play every year.

This is a crock of shite. This seaon in particular.

Mizzou plays Ole Miss & Arkansas.

Uga plays Auburn & @ Texas A&M.

UF plays Auburn & @LSU at night.

It's a ridiculous unfair advantage for one team or another every season.

Goddamn LSU fa..... oh wait

9 SEC games

Georgia/Florida/SC/Kentucky
9 SEC schools
1 ACC school
2 cupcakes @ Home

LSU
9 SEC games
3 games anywhere against anybody

Sound fair to you?

UGA gets criticized for "rent-a-wins" & not playing anybody of name value.

LSU gets praised for playing P5 teams increasing their SOS for the playoffs committee.

Your school chooses to participate in the in state rival as one of it's non-conference games.

LSU will do with its non-conference games what it likes, too.

But to be clear: I prefer when LSU schedules non-cupcakes for one of its non-conference games.

The vote was 10-4. Not 13-1.

Actually, playing GT satisfies the SEC requirement of 1 P5 school. The other 2 are the issue.

We would love to play non-cupcakes, but 9 SEC games would force us not to.

So, long story short, there are 4 votes AGAINST 9+ games.
