Five reasons Mississippi State will beat Arkansas tonight

1. Arkansas does not play well at the Hump.
Since joining the SEC, Arkansas is 7-20 against Mississippi State in Starkville. Some very good Razorback teams have lost in the confines of the Hump. This is Arkansas' second true road game of the season - are they prepared for a hostile crowd of 1500?
2. Thie is the fifth time MSU has faced Arkansas to open SEC play.
MSU is 3-1 in such previous games.
3. Even Arkansas fans wish they weren't ranked.
Arkansas' recent surge has them ranked No. 22 in the latest polls. Everyone knows Arkansas plays better when they aren't ranked. Plus, think of the pressure. A couple of wins this week could propel them to the top 20 for the first time since 2000.
4. MSU's defense and rebounding could create problems.
MSU leads the SEC giving up just 62 points a game and holding opponents to 38% shooting. State also outrebounds opponents by 6.2 boards a game, while Arkansas is one of just two SEC teams getting out rebounded on the season.
5. The concession stand item of the game is a Pulled Pork hot dog.

This is false. Arkansas has been ranked inside the top 20 quite a bit since 2000.
