Why? He is turning the roster to compete in the SEC. He will be fine due to lack of a good overall roster. He is getting the depth and good backups. It will be the next two years that the team shall be loaded and ready to compete with the top teams. I am very happy to see him making progress. Unlike Chad Morris.
What you are saying is exactly what we thought about Morris, getting rid of the previous coaches players, recruiting at a higher level, he just needed time to get his players for his system then look out. Then the wheels fell off and no one, not even the players, could tolerate it anymore and he was shite canned.
But you’ll hang with him no matter what I hope.

Florida state's recruiting rankings might say they have more talent, but NFL drafts over the past few years have them on par with North Carolina and Nc state. Their program has been a mess well before norvell

They're losing to FCS teams and getting blown out by the likes of Wake Forest. That's on Norvell.

Feel kind of bad for Frost.
I don't think he wanted to return to Nebraska and did it out of loyalty.
Now they are ready to show him the door.

The mistake was joining the big 10 and losing the Texas recruiting base

Penn State and Nebraska both thought that they would dominate the Big Ten.
Nebraska is yet to win the Big Ten.
I think Penn State did it once, in 30 years.
Big Ten is too physical for most teams outside of the Big Ten.

Exactly. Two years is enough to prove himself of not needing more time for excuses A-F. Wise up.

Some of you are really dumb! Good grace get a life! Do you know Drinkwiz is new to being a HC and in the SEC? He is a good fit and will take it slow to build the football program the correct way for his team. Not all team are the same. It all depends on the situation. Please stop being dumb and act like Drinkwitz is 2.0. Frost is way over his head since he is in a huge disadvantage with recruiting for his team. Look at Vandy. Go attack Vandy fans. Oh, wait they rarely come here because their football program is pretty bad. Recruiting is the key. Got to get a lot better talents. Drinkwitz has been doing that and should get the team to be much better next year. I am looking forward to this year. It will be a much better team since Drinkwitz finally got a DC that can get the job done the right way. He did make a bad hired last year and now he is fixing it this year. It is part of being a HC. New HCs will make mistakes and correct it. I guess you don't believe it. That is fine with me but don't go attack me or say things about Drinkwitz that isn't true. Also, he is ahead of what I expected from him.

Drink is fine. He has two more years easy. He probably needs to be about 7-5 this year and win a bowl. If he does that, he has two more years again.
Frost, and anyone else Nebraska brings in is in trouble. The recruiting landscape has seismically shifted since Osborne. I really don’t see Nebraska being a Big10 contender in the distant future, if ever. Their move to the Big10 really cut their Texas recruiting pipeline.
I like Herm but he needs to hang it up.
Also, all you little piggies out there oinking about your first halfway decent year in like a decade….well - I’m happy for you. Your schedule this year looks to be about 6-6. So enjoy it while you can.

What?! I am not the one who is saying Drinkwitz is Morris 2.0! That is on some Arkansas fans! Some Arkansas fans need to take it easy!

Plus getting only half of the payout for like 4 years.

Paul Chryst @ Wisconsin belongs on this list. UW might have the best coordinator in the county in Jimmy Leonhard (also an Alumnist)…if Chryst doesn’t have a big season, they’re gonna hand the reigns over to Leonhard.

I expect to see Drinkwitz at the top of this list come November.
No chance, he's only coached one real season at Mizzou and has done a good job trying to build a program. That's a tough place to win. He gets more time.
If Odom couldn't get it done, then you see why Drinkwitz is doing it slowly building by mainly HS recruits. Then get some transfer. First two years wasn't a good example size to determine a HC and recruiting better talents has gone way up. That is why I am waiting for some of those top recruits on the field at the same time. That takes about 3 or 4 maybe 5 years. Plus getting good backups and depth. Look at Kentucky. Similar situation. Drinkwitz has done much better at recruiting better and more talents early on.

Drink has at least 2 years left unless there's an absolute disaster this season.
I have nothing against Mizzou and mean this as respectfully as possible, but Drink is a little bitch whose mouth overshadows his abilities. He's the Aggy of SEC coaches - talks mad shite and then gets cucked.

You don't consider 11-12 'successful'?
LSU just fired a guy for doing that.
That is Drinkwitz's record.
