Does Auburn have a tiger like Mike or just the bird?
No tiger, just the eagle. Actually three eagles - two golden (Tiger, retired 30 year old female and Nova, 10 year old male) and one bald (Spirit).

You would think with our vet school we could manage to care for a tiger - UNA sent one of their lions to us for care a few years back, and there is a lion/tiger sanctuary in northeast Alabama I believe.

Could you imagine the difference if it would have been a pit in that game against Auburn when the AU player scored and the bulldog almost took a bite?

Make teams alot more reluctant to score knowing a pit was hanging around the endzone.

No dog would give a tiger hell... I don't care if it's a pit bull, rottweiler, or whatever.

An elephant could though. A brontosaurus probably could as well.

A pit would give a Tiger hell. Didnt say the pit would win, but it would give a cage kept tiger hell.

No it really wouldn't.

A grown pit bull weighs around 75-80 pounds. Mike VI is not even a fully grown adult yet and weighs 450 pounds. And that's all muscle. Tigers are faster, stronger, bigger, more agile. Not even close

Pits are insane and never stop till dead. Mike has been hand fed and in a cage his whole life. He would wonder "what the frick?" hit him at first. Sure he may kill the Pit eventually but he would need stitches, no doubt.

Pits were breed to stop bulls. I think bulls may be bigger too..

Your a little slow aren't you.

Because your not really hunting. Your taking the dog out to put it to asleep. But don't tell Georgia fans

Pits were not bred to stop bulls.

Bull Mastiffs were.

Pit Bulls were bred for fighting another dog in a pit hence the PIT bull.

The Pit Bull breed was not recognized by the AKC for a long time due to it being bred strictly for fighting.

I guess I'll give you that. There is a big difference between a wild tiger and a cage-kept tiger, like you said. I will concede this battle to you, kind sir

HOWEVER! Take a look at this article. I found it interesting: LINK ...not really applicable here since we're not talking about a wild tiger. Mike is very spoiled. He would probably think the pit bull was playing with him at first

No way! Not to represent the little preppy Ole Miss boys. They need a chihuahua! With a tie!

Yeah, I wouldn't want a pit. I got a golden retriever my senior year. Good choice IMHO...
