Wont come close to the biggest of course (will still be among the smallest) but aesthetically, will certainly be one of the nicest.

Goodness. Don't sell yourselves so short. It will give you the opportunity to move average attendance into the top 25 nationally. It is smallish by SEC standards, but nationally, you guys are starting to get there.

A lot of SEC stadiums are pretty much giant shitholes. Nicest =/= biggest.

This is the west side renovation. It's being fully gutted.

West side concourse being "completely gutted out," Stricklin says. That includes new restrooms, guys.

Once it's done it will look better than ours.

Going to catch a lot of hell from my fellow Ole Miss fans for this.

It seems that the SEZ expansion isn't being included in this phase after all... that's an additional 2500 seats as currently designed that could be completed easily in any offseason...

Restrooms will almost double. Around 300 to around 600. Concession areas will increase by 40%

If we don't renovate our facade then yes, DWS will be nicer than VHS until we expand. Once we hit 100 mil we will start construction on the basketball arena and will begin to develop plans for renovating VHS. That should occur next summer. Once we hit 115 mil, we will begin renovating VHS, which should happen Jan. 2014. So both schools should have a newly renovated horse shoe stadium in 2014. Once we hit 150 mil we will begin bowling in our endzone. Which should be the summer of 2014 and should be ready for the start of the 2016 season. So for two years, state should have a bigger stadium. Depending on how renovations they may have a nicer stadium as well, but we wont know until those plans are revealed

Just curious...what brings about the 133% increase in donations during 2014?

We've already raised about 60 mil or so in one year, and that was with Pete Boone's inept arse running the show. I bet Bjork has us at 150 mil by Christmas 2013.

In one year we've raised 60 mil. If you went by that average we would have 150 mil in a year and a half from now instead of two years which is what is structured and what I said. You must've read incorrectly

The fact that we'll have a larger, nicer stadium...

They didn't let it happen in 01...they won't let it happen now. As long as they are building in reaction to us(and regardless, expanding that stadium at this point IS reactionary), we'll be fine...

I promise you FTR was prompted by Boone to save his job, not because state decided to expand. Just because we don't need an expansion now doesn't mean we won't by 2016-2017. If you have a waiting list then you're behind and should have already expanded. We have sold out 92 % of our stadium the paat two years. If y'all decided to put a 5 year plan to expand back in 2006 when you averaged less than 92% capacity then you would have been set up nicely for 2011 when your waiting list began.

Edit: also if we don't include a VHS expansions in the FTR plan then there's no way we raise the money needed to build a new arena which we need more than anyone needs any facility
