45-0. Baylor actually had a decent team and went to the Peach that year. Singletary was on the team as LB. Oddly enough, there was a rematch the next year in the Cotton Bowl.

1976? #1 Nebraska at LSU. A fantastic defensive game.

January 1, 1968. LSU defeated Wyoming in the Sugar Bowl at Tulane Stadium. It was freezing, too. Yes, I'm old.

1949 Southeastern Louisiana vs LSU. My dad was a student at SLC on the GI bill; we piled into our old Studabaker and drove over for that afternoon game.

That is awesome.

My dad who is 79 talks about going to an Ole Miss MSU game in Starkville in the early 40's. He went with a neighbor that had a boy playing for MSU (maybe A&M at that time??). He was telling me how low key and laid back the MSU locker room was back then, nothing like today. He was in there getting autographs less than an hour before kickoff.

MSU won the game behind the running of Blondie Black, a bruiser with speed who still owns the season record for yards per carry at MSU.

Mr first OM game was Sept 27th 1997 vs Vandy. Stewy Patridge, John Avery, Rufus French, true freshman Deuce, and some other solid players at the time. Beat Vandy 15-3 in a very boring game.

However, 3 weeks later, my best friend invited me to go with him and his dad down to BR to watch OM vs LSU.

The Tigers had beaten defending national champion and undefeated UF the week before. I watched that game and remember watching Herb Tyler run all over the Gators and seeing how insane DV was that night.

I was 11 and pretty damn nervous about going to DV for the OM game but there was no way I was turning it down. So I got in the car with them and made the 2 hr trip from Hburg to BR. OM came out and beat that arse 36-21 in front of a stunned Tiger crowd. Let's just say I wasn't quite as nervous on the ride back as I was on the ride down.

September 1997. Ole Miss at Auburn. Auburn won and went on to win the west. 6 turnovers were too much to overcome Tennessee in the SECCG that year.

My first Ole Miss game I remember, since that is what my dad took me too as a kid, was 1980? Ole Miss vs Georgia and a kid named Herschel Walker in Oxford. Ole Miss jumped out to a good lead, but Walker killed them in the second half. I went to a bunch of games before that but do not remember enough about them.

My stepdad was at that game. He was in law school at the time and told me about how HW straight up punked us out.

My first MSU game was the 1978 Egg Bowl. Except I was waving a Rebel flag and rooting for Ole Miss.

93 Iron Bowl is the first game I remember. I went to a few before that, but I was 3 years old so I don't remember much.
