I mean, if you want me to point out the irony of you calling out a fanbase for being salty as you’ve cried for weeks about one game, I’ll be glad to do that. I’m sure all the consumption you had last week watching Arnold get sacked for the umpteenth time made you forget last weekend existed, but we did actually win a game last weekend.

I’m fine with Mateer. But whatever NFL expectations there were early in the season are far gone for now. He needs an extra year without an injury. A competent offense with some defense is what is needed. I’d take any of Riley’s teams over this current product.

We will never know how Hawkins would have looked. Mateer isn’t healthy. And it’s hurting his decision making. Plus our OC is braindead not running X.
I hated Riley getting us to cusp and having zero D. At least now we end up learning earlier we are done.
