Auburn's offense has again devolved into handing the ball off to Ben Tate.

That was a pathetic performance.

In all seriousness, I hate the following about Malzahn so far:

1) Kodi in the wildcat is a wasted down 95% of the time. I do NOT fricking understand what that is about.
2) Todd is having trouble vertically tonight (shoulder, cold, vagina, whatever), so give him some easy passes - quick slants to TZ, buttons to Trott, or screens to Tate.
3) Did I mention fricking hating the Kodi thing?
4) If McCalebb has hurt wheels, then fricking get Frenchy in there. We HAVE to have speed in there to keep the LBs honest.

It really looks like the offense has been solved.

For two consecutive games, Auburn looked bad on offense and Malzahn looked like he had no clue what to do about it.

In response to the offense being solved, there was an article on al.com saying Malzahn was working on new schemes to help the offense (I think he's been figured out now)..

Pretty easy to see what has happened. Todd has had two aweful games in a row. I think his arm is dead now. Middle of the season, and his shoulder is giving out is my guess. It looked just like last year. He was underthrowing every pass over 20 yards and the balls were floaters with no zip.

Not a whole hell of a lot Mahlzhan can do when our qb can't throw the ball downfield. And as we already know and did not bother to try, Kodi is not a great passer.

The procedure and formation penalties were baffling. I want some explanation, on that last 1 especially.

don't start posts that say "fire Gus" b/c of my insight.

I want to see him coach a couple years. He's probabaly going to land Dyer as a recruit. Let's see what he can do with some of his own players.

If that's the case, do we pull Rollison's redshirt?

Gus can't make Todd hit wide open receivers Todd must do that and he didn't. he failed to hit several deep throws like he has done in the past. Couple that with a defense that couldn't stop anything we are in for a long season. I had hoped the defense would finally step up at least early in the game when rested and they simply haven't done it, couple that with an offense that is Jekyle and Hyde it is rough.
