He is the least football savvy of all the shows I have heard. He avoids real questions and usually gives mainstream answers. It's an entertainment show that went national on the coat tails of Bama's recent success.

Couldn't have said it any better myself...

like we didn't matter in 2007 huh brah?
As talented as that team was they actually under achieved in 2007. 2009 Alabama had 3 games that were decided by less than 10 points. 2007 LSU, which I believe was more talented, had 6 games that were either losses or decided by a touchdown or less. Plus, had it not been for some wacky happenings during the last week of the season, you wouldn't even have a national championship from 2007.

Better coaching wins title in '06 and '07 without luck IMO.

disagree. With the talent LSU brings in every year they will always matter...despite the coach. I do think it's possible that Bama and florida will win another NC before LSU, but definitely no guarantee.
i agree 100%. UF has a slightly better chance to win a NC before LSU but bama has a much better chance(this year at least).

I've never heard Finebum's show, but as I understand it, his job is to stir up shite, right?

LSU and AU will have a tremendous say in whether or not Bama makes it to the SECCG again so his statement is clueless just like he is.

I see this devolved into another Finebaum bashing thread instead of simply agreeing or disagreeing with his comments.

Well, he is just a hack that caters to his audience. For being so high and mighty, Alabama has really struggled with the school that "doesn't matter" the last two years.

So what you are saying is that Alabama would not have won it last year if not for wacky plays through out the season. Look, football is full of luck going your way the whole season. Don't come here with that bullshite. F Finebaum he is a shite stirrer that hates LSU. You don't hear any sports guys on the radio over here hating on any teams in the SEC like he does with LSU, his act is getting old. Must be a joy to listen to that douche bag everyday.

And LSU struggled with Bama in their salad days too. What does Finebaum's comments have to do with the Bama-LSU rivalry?
