In Birmingham, Finebaum's new, regionally syndicated ESPN Radio show will be heard on his old station, WJOX 94.5 FM, as well as the new ESPN 100.5 FM, which is expected to launch Monday, as well.

Finebaum's new show, which will originate out of ESPN regional studios in Charlotte, will begin and end an hour earlier than before -- airing from 1 to 5 p.m. in Birmingham, instead of from 2 to 6 p.m.

•"The JOX Roundtable," which moved to fill Finebaum's afternoon time slot after his contract with WJOX expired in January, will return to its old midday slot. The show -- with Jim Dunaway, Ryan Brown and Lance Taylor -- will air from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., ending an hour earlier than it did before it moved.
•"The Matt and Scot Spectacular," which joined the WJOX lineup in February as the midday replacement for "The JOX Roundtable," will move to early evenings, following Finebaum. The show -- with Dallas imports Matt McClearin and Scot Harrison -- will air from 5 to 8 p.m.
•"The Opening Drive" -- with Jay Barker, Al Del Greco and Tony Kurre -- will continue to air in its usual morning drive slot, from 6 to 10 a.m.

I hate the roundtable is losing an hour. I'd rather them take that hour away from the Opening Drive.

I know Dunaway pretty well. With the amount of hours that man puts in every day on television and radio, he's probably pretty happy to lose an hour of radio time.

He's definitely all over. He's the main reason I listen to the Roundtable. He's hilarious sometimes.

Dammit. When will ppl see that this bald headed fricktard is making a living out of giving the rest of America material to make fun of the south with. I used to like the guy when he had an actual sports show, but now he is just Springer South and it's embarrassing to hear these people from my state plastered all over the nations radios. If it was sensible ppl then it's would be different, but the entire premise of the show unfortunately only attracts the lowest common denominator from both fan bases.

I would say it has made him successful because it attracts listeners. I agree with the trashiness making us look bad but it does provide some entertainment.

I don't care about the callers and I separate the from the general lumping in. Folks that do that (from across the nation, Yankees in particular), are imo, worse than the callers. I am hoping, since he's national now, he will have even more interviews. When he has guests on, he is one of, if not the best, interviewers around. He allows the guest to go where he wants to at the right times, and lets them tell their stories, instead of interrupting and making the interview about himself.

Yeah, he's a great guy. Used to play for my Dad in the way back. Dad still calls him Junior Dunaway. His wife was my sister's roommate and sorority sister at Alabama. I used to build computers for his father in law when I was still in high school.

He's gone pretty far for a lowly Montevallo grad like me.

I never thought I would say this, but I am glad he is back. The mid-day show has been horrendous. Very hard to listen to.
