Without opening the article or reading this thread I'm going to guess some unrealistic number that Gumps are eating up.

true about guys records at Alabama. Still I don't see Saban doing better than 13-1 at Tuscaloosa.

While I agree that Saban will win the SEC at least once before leaving Bama, you are being intellectually dishonest if you think he will do better than 13-1 and win a MNC (LSU '03 obviously). Not in today's SEC. In other words, he already had his greatest season as a coach. You're a little too late.

Not that I would put much emphasis in what Finescum says, but he actually doesn't blatantly try to piss anyone off in this article.

Indeed. If you would have told me Bama goes undefeated heading into the SECCG last year, I would have probably sought to have you committed. That being said, LSU will go 14-0 next year and beat Florida by 30 while making Tebow and Urban cry (again).

I think that Bama/LSU/Ole Miss all have a very realistic chance of going 10-2. Obviously Bama and Ole Miss's schedule are a little more favorable than ours, but I think the games between them will decide the West. Ole Miss gets both us and Bama at home though.
However, I think we'll be VERY motivated to avenge the loss of last year, and we've always played well on the road at Ole Miss.

It wouldn't shock me in the least to see a 3 way tie. But all 3 teams will have between 9-10 wins. It's going to be a hell of an interesting year.

Just your typical Bama fan that has no understanding of Saban's time in Baton Rouge.

I'm waiting for that classic 24 to 31 pt beatdown that has haunted Saban everywhere he's been ,sometimes more than one time a year. Its happened everywhere but Tuscaloosa. Its coming.

No kidding. That was a nail-biter compared to most of Nick's losses in East Lansing or Baton Rouge. That was one of the poorest prepared LSU teams I've ever seen that day. Pitiful.

I-59, after this season, I really don't think LSU fans can say anything about double digit beatdowns,

A little? LSU already has a 100% guaranteed L on the schedule. Ole Miss and Bama don't.

Oh no doubt . We were blasted by Florida and Ole Miss plus Georgia hung 52 on us.

Point is comparisons have been drawn in this thread about how well coaches, many who fared poorly elsewhere, excelled in Tuscaloosa. Also how Saban did at LSU and charting it with Alabama.

I'm just saying with those two comparisons involving Saban, except a few total beatdowns along the way, too.
