Agree with this take. He isn't SEC caliber, not even close right now. We played him twice over the past 2 years and saw very little development during that time. He has potential though..

Crews can go 0 for his next 80 and still be batting .306

Don't more teams get in the tourney next year?

He can go 0 for his next 35 and still be batting .400. Remarkable.

JoePa could have avoided this whole mess if he would have brought in this guy back in 2002

I'll do you one better.
My 3 year old has broken TWO flat screen TVs with a Wii remote (didn't have on the wrist strap) in the past 3 years. Kid has an arm like Zeus. I'm already out $3K in TVs, so I'll start the bidding there. (Don't worry...he'll never find out).

Problem for Auburn is the feds will usually sit on indictments for awhile.
Not necessarily. Feds often indict first and cut deals later. They can always issue a superceding indictment if new information is found. With some of these crimes, you have statute of limitations issues, so you can't sit on the indictment forever.

They better worry about Arkansas before thinking about LSU

To Mr. Bitter Auburn fan:
Fact - Alabama is the No. 1 team in the country right now.
Fact - More fans follow Alabama around the country than any other SEC school, save maybe Florida.
When LSU was No.1 back in '07, I think they played on CBS 5 times. CBS rides the big horse. Deal with it. Right now, it's Alabama.

Agreed to all above. But with the need to keep "simplifying" the playbook for Jefferson, the problem is only going to get worse.
This WV player quote bothers me most of all..

“While we were watching film we got tips about what they were going to run. They were tipping some of their plays off. For the most part we knew what they were going to do. We tried to execute on what we were trying to do.”
- WVU DB Keith Tandy on defending the LSU offense
This is why we need some kind of change. If WV can figure it out, what will Alabama or Florida do?

It seems to me one of JJ's biggest problems is his mechanics in throwing the ball. He has such a long, high release that it appears to really affect his accuracy. To me, that is coaching. Someone needs to show him the proper way to throw a football.
And by the way with this JJ v. JL thing, it's not like we are debating the virues of Joe Montana v. Steve Young. Neither one of them is going to single-handedly lead LSU to a chmpionship. Solid running game, great defense, and have a QB who can manage the game. That's how you win.
