Well, there is no doubt Finebaum is more of an Alabama fan than Auburn fan. Still,he dogs Alabama when the situation presents itself. And brutally at times.

What is undeniable is Finebaum's disturbing crush/infatuation on Saban. Surely no Alabama fan being honest with him or herself will deny that. Finebaum worships the ground that man walks on.

emotion flowing faster than the bourbon in the stadium is my favorite part, besides us being due to win this one. That's my birthday and I am thinking I may be celebrating in Oxford. Other option will be making the boyfriend give me one of his tickets to see Florida LSU. Either game is going to be a great one but I think I want to Hotty Toddy on my Bday!

Duke will take you to the game and to Waffle House after the ballgame to celebrate.

There's not that much emotion on this planet.

That would be Huddle House in Oxford. And I will have to pass on that one. It will be my birthday so I will be having beer for my dinner.

1.) LSU does not yet know what it has in JJ, he has not gone through an SEC schedule. He looked impressive against GT but had a month to game plan for the game and GT is not an SEC defense.
2.) LSU is still unsure on defense, we (being LSU fans) talked up the defense last year. With Beckwith, RJF, Tyson Jackson, Woods, all coming back we assumed they would put pressure on a QB and cause havoc. That did not happen so just cause we brought in a bigger name DC does not automatically equal improvement. I wanna see what they look like in an actual game not what I assume they will be this year.
3.) Bama lost 2 offensive lineman LSU lost 2 offensive lineman. Yet we assume Charles Scott will be fine. Ingram is better than Coffee and would have started over him had he returned. Ingram will easily get 1200 yards this year maybe more.
4.) Bama will only want their QB to throw for around 150 yards a game and limit his INT's. Their defense will be top of SEC again.
5.) Anyone can go undefeated with right breaks. Bama did last year till Florida game. Any team can if a ball bounces just the right way during a game, or a QB makes the wrong read. Luck is involved in all sports, you just have to accept that.
LSU was lucky to play in the 2 NC's we played in this year. By people losing ahead of us and some friendly computers.

Opposing teams' defenses will have to score on
'Bama to be successful this season, because our D isn't going to give up squat. From what we're seeing and hearing even from this spring, our defense will be stout.

Having a great D is a double edge sword sometimes though. It puts an incredible amount of pressure on them each time out to make stops if the offense isn't capable of putting up many points. Since we don't know what Bama's O will look like that isn't an issue at this point. However, I agree with another poster who said I'd be shocked to see the QB throw the ball more than 15-20 times a game.

Bama won't be getting into any shootouts with anyone, nor do I think they'll be blowing anyone out (at least not SEC schools).
I expect a lot of close games won by the D and running game much like the UK and Ole Miss games last year. I don't expect to see many Clemson and UGA games.

Meet me at the huddle house, I promise you the most fun you've ever had with your clothes on. Then well...maybe your clothes off if you're lucky.

As nice as you seem that's not going to happen. The boyfriend probably would not approve. Ha ha. I definitely will be there for the LSU game and maybe the Alabama. I am thinking those pose our biggest threat this year and have potential to be the best games of the year. Unless we manage to screw it up and lose to Vandy again this year.

If you come over next month for the SEC baseball tournament you can keep your clothes on and I'll treat you to the Waffle House (either one) about 2 miles from the Met.
