The termination or reassignment of JJ will not have anything to do with the final results of the Softball Investigation. That shipped sailed a while back and AU hired the firm to handle the Title IX lawsuit. JJs termination will be the result of a cumulative effect of bad hires and poor vision on his part.

No big stink about to hit the street. He was hinting at the rumor that Gus and Lindsey not getting along, how Gus is still involved in the play calling. Finebaum gets his AU information from AU sites and the Beat Writers thru the Birmingham New. He has real connections with Bama, but AU insiders will not talk to him.

He has always been able to get a pulse on what's going on at AU. Between Jay Jacobs, Pat Dye and Tubs he can at at least get a "pulse" of what's going on. He knows LOTS of movers and shakers though. I can't STAND the guy but he is powerful and KNOWS what's going on without a doubt.
How do you think he got his ESPN gig? Former Commissioner Mike Slive was one of the best friends he has ever had and it was HIS idea to start SECN.

Anyone who believes Finebaum is clueless about what goes on in Auburn or Tuscaloosa is kidding themselves. The guy has been covering Alabama and Auburn football since the 80s. I realize he may be unpopular on this board for whatever reason, but the man knows his shite when it comes to the inner workings of the Alabama and Auburn athletic programs.

I've just never cared for him because he kisses up too much to whatever coach is on top and kicks the ever living shite out of whatever coach is down. I understand it's for ratings, but he is a straight up JUDAS (at least his TV personality).

Ehh, Finebaum knows something more than your softball, women's basketball, and the Gus and Lindsey offensive stuff. All of thats old news unless the new President found out his Lightfoot, Franklin, White investigation unearthed some dirt on the AD.
I don't tune into Pawl, I quit that shite over 7 yrs ago, but i bet there is something more brewing than softball and the offensive play calling.
