t, the same people that look down at people wearing jersey to college football games, have absolutely no problem with anyone wearing a Saints jersey to a Saints gam

Wrong, being a Saints fan is worse.

Do I wear jerseys when attending games or going to parties? From time to time, but I'm 21 and the majority of my generation does this.
The majority of your generation wears jerseys to football games and parties?

I highly overestimated the intelligence and frattiness of Alabama if this holds true

If you spend $70 on collegiate-themed mesh, you might be special.

That guy had to be a troll.

He was saying that Boston was some bastion of civilized people.

Sorry but when I think of Boston I think of some fat guy in a clam chowder covered Pats jersey yelling "HEY MA WHEY'DYA PAHK THE CAH!?".

You should try duck or turkey hunting. Much more exciting than deer, actually involves physical action (tracking and calling a turkey, calling in ducks, setting up a decoy spread, etc.). Much better than sitting in a tree trying to be still and quiet.

That's the difference between jerseys in the SEC vs B1G. Every SEC fanbase has it's jersey wearers, maybe even a lot of them (Bama, UF, LSU come to mind). But it's still frowned upon and very few "respectable" fans would wear them. In B1G country, literally every fan wears one.

It's ironic that we have so many homos down South that like to tell other men how to dress but we have this overall perception of being homophobic.

Not to nitpick but criticizing the way someone is dressed does not make you homosexual in any way, and it seems you labeling people that do so as such makes you homophobic.

I'm still curious as to why some of you think it's unacceptable to wear a jersey.

The gay community has a lot of rules and regulations. You don't question them, you just go with the flow. Now bend over.

What Dmagic said.

But also: See what happens if you show up to the tOSU/Michigan game wearing a tucked in collared shirt. Even if it's with jeans. You would get so much shite it would be unreal.

Don't kid yourself. They care every bit as much as any fan base in the SEC, just on the opposite end of the spectrum.

I could care less about all of it. I find extremely creepy for a self-claimed straight man to tell another man what he should or shouldn't wear.

Not really. There are a lot of people who wear jerseys, but I wore khakis, and a UM polo to the OSU-UM game this year, and there were a lot of people dressed the same. Maybe different in Columbus. Bunch of miscreants.
