It's been a smear campaign from the beginning. If the players win tomorrow watch a ton of SEC teams adding guys. Keep receipts.

Exactly. I've been saying this and think some people may believe that I am saying that it's a smear campaign vs LSU. I think the NCAA is just trying to avoid saying they fricked up and they are going to fight all of these lawsuits just to avoid showing how badly they fricked up the 5 for 5 rule. My feelings on that have nothing to do with LSU. I could not care less if any of these guys end up in Baton Rouge. But, they deserve to play somewhere in college because they were treated unfairly.

Jordan Rogers nailed it in 5 seconds. This isn't about NFL players. It's about self-serving teams trying to improve their own odds of success. That's the only metric by which they judge these rules. Helps my team: good rule. Hurts my team: bad rule. Nobody got upset when Vandy's qb sued the NCAA over a long-standing rule, because they weren't worried about Vanderbilt. Now teams decide to fight for this brand new, badly handled NCAA/SEC rule because they're worried about LSU.
