Not bad for a team that had the easiest schedule ever!

It is quite amazing that Auburn gets more eyes than Clemson when we can only muster 5 or so wins

Assuming championship games aren't considered regular season to them.

So only Georgia had higher viewership than Texas A&M? Am I interpreting that right?
40,400,000÷6
40,400,000÷6

For the Top 25 most watched regular season games:
18 were on ABC
5 were on FOX
1 was on NBC
1 was on CBS
Appearances by team:
8- Georgia
5- Alabama
4- Texas, Ohio St
3- Oklahoma, Tennessee, Michigan
For the Top 100 most watched regular season games:
44 were on ABC
22 were on FOX
13 were on ESPN
12 were on NBC
9 were on FOX
Appearances by team:
8- Georgia
6- Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan
5- Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Colorado, Florida, LSU
4- Ohio St, Penn St, Nebraska

Sorry. That should have read 8 games. Fixed.

14. Notre Dame- 30.1 (10 games)
15. Oregon- 29.6 (10 games)
Now, using “per game” and using an 8 game avg its:
FL 34.6
OU 33.7
USCw 23.1
Neb 24.2
ND 24.1
OR 23.7
In case anyone is curious, this shows the SEC getting 10 million more viewers “per 8 games” than the 3 listed B10 plus stalwart ND. Imagine next TV contract how that helps SEC. Oregon went undefeated in the B10 and still only avg 23.7m per 8 games. OU went 2-6 in the SEC and beat them by far. Same with Florida.

From where are these parenthetic game numbers coming? You can stream just about every game you want.

I’m constantly astounded at how low their viewership is. Might be why neither the SEC or Big 10 are interested.

Published tv viewership numbers through Neilson. Reported weekly by Sports Media Watch.
SEC Network games nor games on ESPN+ are metered.

People hate on Deion and I’m not so sure I’d want him at LSU but from a branding perspective name a better coach doing it

I didn't include games on ESPNU where the ratings are just horrible.
129k watched Arkansas vs Arkansas State
69k watched Miss State vs Toledo
17k watched Vanderbilt and Alcorn
I also may have made some mistakes. Kentucky pretty impressive but just 3 games.

Ok, so I redid the top 20 list based on “per game” averages. It moves several SEC teams higher.
I kept the original ranking to the left show where they were to reranking by avg per game. New ranking in parens.
I would think this matters as it means more viewers per game to advertisers. Could help at next TV contract.

Yet so many of the uninformed and perpetually ignorant with early stage Herod's Crotch are begging to add the sheep humping sister bangers and the criminoles to our family.
I hope this settles it once and for all. Neither would add anything of value.
