It’s embarrassing, I hope LSU puts some uniformed or even plain clothes police around the union and they start busting heads when this inevitably starts up again next Saturday.

I’ve asked for a sticky for this thread, to shine a light on these vile individuals, so maybe they can be brought to justice.

Fortunately our fans and COACH do not condone this behavior.
Expel them all.
Expel them all.

On a serious note, this does seem to me
like it would be a relatively easy fix. Reposition a couple of officers and the problem goes away quickly. As others mentioned, not sure why the decision was made to wholesale shut the Union down instead.

LSU situation: A group of middle schoolers harass an opposing fan, a woman. Clearly, they need their asses whipped by their dads for not respecting elders.
Bama situation: An adult representative (in the actual sense) of the University lays his hands on a female in an aggressive way, totally unprovoking behavior from the victim. His boss, who is not only an official representative of the University, but its highest paid individual, explains and excuses it away; no discipline taken.
Now, which situation is most likely to be the subject of ridicule by another fanbase?

Well said, I’d step in between any of you Bama posters and a gang of guttersnipe high schoolers. Even Tuscaloosa

Your ability to inflame is enviable

a member of your football team attacked a lady, and members of your fanbase excused him and blamed her.
melt about it.
melt about it.

No, you attacked a lady.
Your fanbase does worse and you and your coach make excuses for it.
Tell us again how the female student hit by Bama’s thug was partly to blame for it. That was a particularly good look for y’all.

Are you saying it's worse for fans to attack a lady than for a player to attack a lady? Just trying to clarify your position.

Both are pathetic and deserve punishment but I am trying to understand how LSU fans condemning this makes them morally superior. Where is the pain you suffer for taking a stand? It is really easy to condemn these kids because it doesn't cost you a thing. What...some random dipshits go to jail? Big deal. Both should be condemned but condemning a player from your favorite team is not the same. Sorry but every fan is going to have a harder time condemning a player on their favorite team compared to some faceless punks in a grainy video.

I feel like the obvious solution would be to get a few cops out there and do a sweep of arrests on these punks. Probably wouldn't need to do it more than once, and that would likely solve the problem.
Probably right. BTR cops can’t stop all the “locals” from catching bullets, maybe they can stop the middle school Swamp Youth from harassing women.

I don’t think the two situations are remotely similar, nor should they be compared. I made it 3 pages without bringing up Alabama, but this is what you guys wanted to turn it into.
Yes, I think what happened in that video is worse than what happened to the lady in the Burton video. A mob of people surrounding, harassing, and assaulting a lady is worse than a single individual swiping a lady with an open hand. That should not be a point of contention.

Hey buddy. I’m just trying to help you out. The above could be more concisely written as such:
