You people are the reason he's on the air. Lou Holtz, Tammy, Legend, Colin Cowherd, they are all in the same boat. People act like they hate them, but they are talked about far more than people on their shows or similar shows.

He's no more a spokesperson for Alabama fans as a whole than Tammy is for AU fans. He is A fan, just like Tammy is A fan. All schools have idiots. Prepaid cell phones have made it easier for those idiots to be heard.

You're right and we're ashamed of them both. I respect their passion and love for their team, but quit acting that way, it's embarassing. I used to like to listen to Legend, because he does know some football, but now he's just obnoxious even to a Bama fan. I could listen to Tammy, but she has to yell, and it hurts my ears..."And I tell you another thing".........she says or yells that over and over again.
Legend did say that he killed a man, and it was a long time ago, and he has turned his life around and is trying to teach the young people not to do what he has done. I respect him for that, but not for some of the things he says on the radio.
He needs to stop that, because he truly isn't as cool as he thinks he is.

I'll just have to trust you on this. I have no proof that he does or does not do community outreach suggesting kids not kill people.

To be honest, I have never been to the places where he has been a speaker, but I have heard him and Finebaum discuss it on the air. I don't think that he instructs them not to kill, but I think he talks with them about hanging with the bad kind of crowd, and tells them what prison is like, and they certainly don't want to be there.
I think there is a place for this type of teaching, especially to some of those kids that do not have a father figure in their lives, and they need someone to spell it out for them.

I wasn't serious...i don't think he does shite other than bring it up then appologize on finebaum...which is fine, i just don't see why he talks about it...the day someone learns a lesson from that guy is the day i show you a trashier person. he's trash, tammy is trash, all the jims are trash, charles is trash.
But the point of this thread was he was on al.com being trashy.
I do hope he keeps betting against auburn...chalk it up as schadenfreude, but i do smile a little every time i know he's lost money becuase he's let his auburn hate blind him into a bad bet.

I blame the government.
First they take away yard darts then make you wear seat belts and put warnings on lawn mowers not to use as hedge clippers.
In the past stupid would just kill them selves off now they can breed so they out number everyone.
