Well actually,

Fayetteville is rated the best city of the 6 SEC cities to be in the group, ahead of Nashville, Lexington, Knoxville, Columbia and Baton Rouge.

It is a pretty part of the world, though you can't get there from here.

Sorry, y'all can keep any list that rates Denver as a Top 3 Place to Live in the US

Wait, I'm missing something. Denver has one of the strongest and fastest growing economies in the country right now, some of if not the best skiing in the country in its suburbs, four actual seasons with generally good weather outside of blizzards, and legal pot. Why wouldn't you wanna be somewhere where people are getting rich quick while having a smorgasbord of extracurriculars available?

But also USNWR is a joke publication so this list is still a joke

Go buy a bus pass and go to Fayetteville

Just give him Kelvin Sampson’s.

He’s certainly not using it

Sorry man, I still see it as crowded and filthy in my memories. I'd put Colorado Springs as #1, out of their Top 10 .

I live in MS

It's pretty cruel of them to even make these lists

Des Moines ? List isn't looking too hot

Des Moines is just another big city still full of whypipo.

It's a nice place, but too damn cold.

Fayetteville/NWA is great, but we have a traffic problem, and a too-many-people-moving-here-and-fricking-things-up problem.

If I was going to live in a big Colorado city, Colorado Springs would be my pick, too.

Downtown Denver is really cool, though. Too many homeless people, though.

2. Really cold
3. Bland arse food

Germans and Norwegians not cut with enough English/Irish/Scottish.

The people are not as friendly, but they keep their yards cleaner.

Yes! Couldn't get a decent piece of fried chicken, but pastry shops everywhere

I'm not sure I can say Fayetteville is a top 5 city. But I can't argue with NWA in general being up there. Great area.

But I agree. Someone from Des Moines paid these people off lol

Four straight years in the top 5 of that listing is impressive. Any other SEC city would be jizzing their pants over it. Still, I wish we'd stop growing.

The listing is for the whole metro. I'm not sure they even bother to rate metros under 500k people, which NWA has only had for maybe 5-6 years. Probably be close to 600k at the 2020 census.

Both are Fortune 75 companies. Both have well-rounded job titles to pick from. It isn't like everybody is selling chicken or haggling with vendors for Walmart. People who live here and work for those entities travel the globe, work in IT, engineering, architecture, sales, PR, chemical engineering, etc.

They're massive companies.

Also, most people in NWA don't work for either place.

I was a military brat as a kid and lived in many places. We moved to Hot Springs when Dad retired when I was in 9th grade.

I went to UA in Fayetteville and never left. This place is gorgeous especially if you love outdoorsy stuff.
