Yeah, we feel lucky to have ended up here. It’s been a good spot for our family.

That’s just not true.

We brought affected athletes (LA Times) to our campus at that time; and many of us supported Katrina evacuees in Houston—to say nothing of our families and friends who were also impacted by the storm. It was an unspeakable tragedy, and we wanted to do all we could.

If you ever saw any inappropriate comments made after the fact, they likely weren’t made by us. If any were, they would’ve been called out if seen.

I wonder if they'll make a documentary on the fascinating, horrific, tragic accident of Declan Sullivan.

Please link it when it airs

They haven't made it yet (I looked). If they do, I will.

Conservative campus feeds climate change events.. obvious transfer tampering, shameful exploitation of a tragedy.

I hope you never lose a child. We lost 12 that night. But please, enjoy your online laughs.

Makes you wonder how you or anyone else can continue to support a university that so carelessly enabled loss of life on this scale

Bring it back. Do it smarter. Probably the only cool tradition the Aggies had

Yeah that part really encapsulated the gravity of the tragedy the most to me.

I do work with a lot if aggys and they aren't bad guys at all. Definitely not as sensitive of some on this board. Hell, they tell me what to say a lot of the time.

But they take this bonfire very seriously. It's a part of their history and definitely shouldn't be mocked.

Every Aggy I've met in real life has been cool. I guess some of the ones attracted to a troll board like this site would be more confrontational.

The performance by the Texas band at halftime of the 1999 A&M and Texas game was an incredible show of respect by the Longhorns. I remember watching this as a teenager and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

Well, there's nothing to side with. I defended him from some idiot suggesting he was saying the matter was funny. If that's the video's name, I'm even more correct if anything that he wasn't saying thay lol.

But what I said about fascinating=/=funny also still stands generally. Tell the dude who asked LSU gut if he thought it was funny ha

No, it’s not fascinating. Nobody talks about the fascinating deaths of 12 young people.
