Did you know that LSU has by far better talents? That is why LSU won. Plus, Drinkwitz was dealing with a quarterback who was a low three star. He was a better fit over Horn because he has that toughness and has leadership quality. He was just not having the tools of a 4* quarterback. Drinkwitz has come a long way to being a good HC. He was able to replace key players that left for the draft or due to graduation. This coming season Drinkwitz has his best talented roster.

LK had 3 draft picks, LSU had more talent for sure... OM won.

So you basically pick and choose whether you want to use commonly accepted methods of data collection in your arguments but complain when others do the same thing.

Got it.

Claiming a 7-6 team is a "top10 win" because they were ranked #7 in week 3 is bullshite. It was valid in week3, not after they went on to lose 5 more games.

Not counting the incoming class when counting the number of scholarship players you have is also not accurate and is thus bullshite.

Claiming a coach inherited a certain amount of players a full month after he was hired instead of the day he was hired is not accurate and is bullshite.

If you need bullshite stats to make your claims, then your claims are likely bullshite as well. It's not my fault you just want to pick and choose whatever method or stat you can find to support your existing bias.

I use the same methods every single time because they are the most accurate, not because they support my bias.

And the fricked up part is, you can just say only 73 scholarships and it's perfectly fine. That's still down 12.

TBH ranking of teams preseason means less now that we have a 12 team playoff.

Just depends on the context.

For example, LSU beat Texas in 2019 in what was a matchup of top ten teams. Texas then lost a ton of players to injuries in the subsequent weeks which led to them losing a bunch of games.

Your method completely discounts what was actually a very good win.

Not really, the team didn't really have anyone leave in that month. The team also technically had an interim head coach between the final game of the season and the bowl game.

More accurate, in your opinion. There are obviously holes in either method, as with anything.
