I said UGA would beat all 4 teams before the first game was played.

Couple of thoughts:

Sheridan is still alive???

Sheridan has never been correct about anything in his life.

Everyone has been saying it UGA should have been in playoffs and blowing teams out in bowl games helps that cause I say keep running up the scores more .

And 2003 OU was the best team ever assembled and couldn't possibly lose. And then lost their conference championship game as a 20 point favorite. And then backed into the BCS game, were made a 6 point favorite and lost again.

How does this moral victory make you feel? Less empty inside?

What could have been. Just think three in a row and going for four next year. Where would it take you fuve six in a row? Better than Bama???
But No you lost along with the woulda coulda's.

I don't doubt at all that Georgia would be favored and would be capable of beating everyone in the playoffs on a given day. But that doesn't change the fact that UGA didn't earn the right to be there by losing to Alabama.

I thought it was the 4 best?

Now its resume?

Yall gotta pick one.

The best team doesn't always win. It's a one and done deal. UGA didn't get it done this time. It happens.

Is it not the 4 best teams?

the problem is that the committee reversed course and did a total 180 on how they selected the previous 9 years.

100%.

They change the criteria as they see fit, which is bullshite.

Ive said this all along, if its the 4 best teams like everyone claims.....how is UGA out?

People would say, "they dont deserve it, they lost to Bama?"

What does deserve have to do with anything? The entire sports media is claiming "4 best"

right, which makes sense, but by doing that they're signaling that they're using option 1. Best resume. If the mindset is "look we're only taking champions of P5 conferences", then you can't justify bama over FSU because FSU went undefeated. So by picking bama over FSU, they're saying "well bama is clearly better than FSU right now". Which was obviously true btw, I'm not aruging that. But by saying that, they're now shifting to option 2- best team. But if you're selecting "best team" then logically it's ridiculous to put uga at 6.

It's exactly the way the system was set up: so the committee could reshuffle the deck, weekly, to drive infotainment content around the clock.

Y'all searching for logic or any reason that has to do with play on the field are on a fool's errand.

Keep sucking that bama arse

And see what you get

Y’all are dumdasses

And should be first in line to speak out against the bama bias

But you continue to bend the knee

That's laughable right there. Considering they lost head to head. I get it, rematches aren't favorable for the previous winner, unless your Washington. See Bama/LSU 2011. Bama Georgia 2021.

You lost to Alabama, so no one cares that you 'would have been favored' over them.

You know you lost to them, right?

I mean, you remember that, right?

Delusional.
