Look at all these cute LSU fans. A lot of the same ones who constantly post the embarrassing "LSUsessed"

You know damn well all the responses are due o y'all acting like cam was a shitty hire bc he got fired.

Your hire is a good hire but got fired from Fresno state. So naturally y'all will get some backlash for talking so much shite about cam being fired.

And he left the falcons bc he wanted to win a ring the dirty birds

This is probably why Bama has all of 4 former offensive lineman playing in the NFL. Once they get out from under the safety net of the SEC officials, they can't seem to keep anyone out of the backfield. Then again, they haven't had the luxury of being coached by the great Pat Hill.

And all 4 of those lineman are from the "holding years" at Bama

LSU has 25% more OL in the NFL than Alabama.

What I want to know is the exact number of threads LSU posters have made about this new hire, since not a single Bama poster made a thread about Cam.

No he's a good coach, period. Look I'm as big of LSU homer as anyone, but the guy can flat out coach. Continually hammering everything that a rival does when even when it looks like a positive move, undermines your credibility. Hill and Saban coached together in the past and have a comfort level. Much like Miles and Cameron's comfort level from past association. Two strong hires in my opinion, from two programs that have done a whole lot of "right" in the recent past.

Good post. Agree with what you say about Cameron.

Hill will of course have a bit less impact than an OC but he's a very well respected coach with an extremely solid resume from Fresno. I think McElwain coached under Hill at Fresno for a while? as well so it sticks with Saban's idea of bringing in offensive coaches that are already very much on the same page.

I think it's a good hire. I thought he had a legit shot at the Arkansas HC job. Pat Hill is good for college football.

Wasn't the Falcons OL the weak link of their offense? Oh, well. I might as well trust Saban's judgment on this one.

He's made a few good hire in the past.
