meh, he's probably right
he grew up in alabama in the 70s and worked at legion field... he was a passionate sports fan
he was probably a fan of alabama football to at least some degree growing up... what happened after he left for school is another thing
Ivan Maisel grew up in alabama and he's more of a PAC 10 guy.
And besides anyone who is a football fan probably has likes and dislikes... anyone who is a serious professional would not intentionally risk their professional reputation to slam a rival... most of them do more like Kirk Herbstreet and take pains to look as impartial as possible

This is so funny yet typical of Auburn fans. Alabama fans were delusional idiots when we were upset with Colin Cowherd's inflammatory comments about Alabama and questioned the fact that his producer was an admitted Bama hating Auburn grad (ChaddScott.com). Yet we're suppose to entertain the idea of a Mizzou grad working the Legion Field concessions as a youngster as a Bammer conspiracy against Auburn. What a convenient world Barners live in.

bullshite. He grew up selling concessions in Legion Field when AU played half their games there, during Shug's heyday with Sullivan to Beasley, the Heisman, and Punt Bama Punt, THEREFORE HE IS AN AUBURN FAN. That is not even debatable.
