The wife line has become cliche, almost every new hire uses some form of the "if you don't think I can recruit look at my wife line" at the meet the new guy press conference.

Not sure it is all about looks, for example
" a Notre Dame summa cum laude , third in her class @ Michigan Law should prove to you I can recruit."
ETA I am not convinced Terry Saban was not a looker three decades ago when Nick was a assitant
Not sure what Dooley's wife looks like but I know she is an OB/GYN
