You realize asu gave up 62pts to like ucla or something last year?

It occurs when you completely drain your defense by leaving out there having to protect slim leads because the offense can't do jack shite.
The TAMU offense will put Chavis' defense in such absurdly untenable situations with far less frequency than he experienced in BR.

I'm not sure which part of Chavis aggy just doesn't get. He can shut down the spread (see LSU vs. Texas A&M this decade), but if you get down a score in the final drive of the game, you lose. But congrats aggy on being Week 1 national champs for 2 years running

Then loses 5 of 7.
Same show. Different year.
It's who they are...UH with an attitude.

Check back with with a rational explanation of your first 4th quarter collapse under Chavis. I won't have to wait long.

I get the impression that Aggies don't know that 3rd and Chavis was coined by Tennessee fans, not LSU fans.

Yes, A&M is now invincible with John Chavis, they will win every game by 30 and have the #1 defense in the country as long as he remains there.

...and that we were warned by them, but we knew better. We had talent that would overcome that.
He's a great DC and I'd love to have him for the first 3 quarters of most games. However, he's the last one I'd want with a touchdown lead going into the 4th. Just my .02. I'm sure plenty of Aggies will tell me why I'm wrong with only one game as their sample, much like we tried to tell Vol fans that in 2009. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

I don't think ATM fans know what 3rd and Chavis means.
It usually occurs late in games when the game is actually close.
ASU was 0-3 on 3rd down in the 4th when we were up by only a score. Their only conversion of the quarter came after we put the game away.
Of course, our offense actually CAN put games away. Chavis isn't used to 38 points against ranked teams.

The Big XII was the best conference in America in the late-90s/Early 2000s. Texas, OU, Nebraska, Colorado, KSU and A&M were all big time players then.
bullshite. A&M nor Kansas st were ever national players. Good god. Colorado was national with Kordell stewart.

Baylor, tcu, west va, okl, make it deeper than when shite a&m was there. Stop acting like a&m makes any conf better.2014 Baylor and tcu were better than any big 12 a&m team. The only team in the big 12 that were CONSISTENT national team were tex, okl, and Nebraska.
Tex and okl have 10 of 14 big 12 titles. Get a grip on reality

Kansas State was going to the national title game in 98 before getting upset in the Big 12 title game, and from 1995-2003 they were a regular top 10 team. A&M was ranked in the top ten at some point in the year four seasons from 1995-2001 and went to multiple New Year's Day bowls.

Congrats on beating a team that was #56 in rushing offense and #97 in time of possession last year. Get back to me after you beat physical teams that were in the top 20 in those categories like Arkansas, Alabama and LSU. That's when you'll see what you've got with Chavis.
