3 points with 5 minutes to go IS NOT A SIGNIFICANT LEAD TO ANYONE EXCEPT AN LSU FAN

so then why didn't aggy lose Saturday night? That was perfect 3rd and Chavis situation. I recall a different outcome.

Nobody is saying it will happen EVERY time. And I'm not saying Chavis is a bad coach or that he won't improve A&M's defense.....but it will happen and it will happen more than you like.

Nope....but an 11-point lead against Clemson in the Peach Bowl is. We felt pretty good about Alabama having to go 72 yards in 1:14 to beat us that year too. As it turned out, they only needed 5 plays and 51 seconds. That was just a couple weeks before Ole Miss put a 14-play drive together to beat us on a last second FG. Last year Bama only need 50 seconds to go 55 yards for a game tying FG and then beat us in OT. Then there was Notre Dame driving 86 yards for the last second FG while Chavis was on the phone with Sumlin. There is a reason LSU fans are more pissed off about things like this than about a 34-point loss to Auburn or shitting the bed at home against Mississippi State.

I remember scoring 41 between the hedges in 2013....and it didn't matter. Can't wait for A&M first blown 4th quarter lead.

The fact that delusional lsufan is literally waiting for this with bated breath for this to maybe occur to validate yourselves while TAMU fans got validation in week 1 is a pretty hilarious juxtaposition.

They even beat Bama for those first two years. But eventually, they had to concede that Bama was their daddy. That will be coming soon in regards to Texas A&M.

Holy shite. In no way is A&M close to lsu as a present or historic program. Your biggest win in over a decade ( bama 2012)won you zero titles.
A&M has 1 conference title in over 2 decades worth of football and that's even when you played in a 2 team team conference (big 12 Texas and okl). You're program is the definition of mediocre

There is such an overwhelming amount of irrational thought in this

I love that they talk down of the Big 12 every chance they get but yet they were 68-61 in the conference with only one championship

If my program's biggest win in over a decade was a game in November, I wouldn't be so arrogant and dismissive of a program that, in the last 2 games, had out gained my team 1008 yards to 527 yards and lsu had over 300 yards rushing in both games.

Since their last conference title lsu has 4 sec titles, 5 sec west titles,2 national titles, and 3 nation title game appearances. A&M fans should direct their smack to MIss st.not one of the big boys

You're right. It's actually harder now. Baylor being great,WVU, and TCU add a level to the Big 12 that wasn't there when A&M was.
The entire time A&M was in the big 12 it was a 2 team conf. Texas and Oklahoma have won 10 of 14 big 12 titles.

You can't be that dumb, two teams?

Nebraska?

Kansas state?
Missouri?

Only one of these is still there

You're fricking kidding right?only 1 of those teams is an actual great program and they haven't been a national program in 2 decades. Big 12 is far deeper and better now than when A&M was in the big 12. Good god.

OU and tu had top 25 recruiting classes in 2015. The other 8 teams in the Big 12 signed a combined 15 different 4 star recruits... or 4 less than Auburn. If you think the Big 12 is deep, you're an idiot.

The Big XII was the best conference in America in the late-90s/Early 2000s. Texas, OU, Nebraska, Colorado, KSU and A&M were all big time players then.

Now, it's a two team league.

I don't think ATM fans know what 3rd and Chavis means.

It usually occurs late in games when the game is actually close.
