Because when Yall were melting all over the board for months you had Tennessee back up. And claimed neutral fans agreed, although we never saw them.

I remember when Nick Saban first got to Alabama, and LSU fans were trying to convince themselves that their program was not about to be jumped. They even beat Bama for those first two years. But eventually, they had to concede that Bama was their daddy. That will be coming soon in regards to Texas A&M.

You forgot to mention that both programs only started mentioning 3rd and Chavis once tDecline started due to incompetent offenses and head coaches.

Third and Chavis has been around for a looooooong time. But when you have quality defenses overall, you tend to overlook the shortcomings. 2013-14 brought the scarring to light.

Are you sure you aren't blaming the DC for:
A) Playing quality offenses
and
B) The natural wear-down of defensive players over the course of a game?
Cuz pretty much ever since completing 50% of one's passes became bad for a QB (circa 1990) I've seen a whole lot of what you've documented all over high school, college, and professional football.
