Kind of hard to blame the guy for wanting to quit Tennessee after the stunt Kiffin pulled on him and then having Dooley replace him.
Not sure how I feel about this kid though. So far every JUCO Saban has signed has gotten significant playing time the following year. Kind of tells me Saban is not too confident in Carpenter's replacement at LT.

Name one player we had to run off to get under the 85 limit. If we bring in 25 and everybody comes back we will still only have 84 on scholarship. If Bama brings in 25 and everybody comes back how many would you have on scholarship? Your numbers look good on the surface until one realizes the difference between signing and enrolling.

You can only enroll 85 so why bitch about it? If a player gets lost in the shuffle who really cares. I for one don't. Most football players are douches anyway and wouldn't be accepted to any of the schools they play for if they couldn't play football.
People lose academic rides all the time if they don't perform, nobody cries for them.
If you were given a football scholarship and you don't live up to expectations you should get the boot or go some place where you can actually contribute.

Doesn't matter, yall have inked and kicked off way more than Bama has over the years. WAY MORE! Just because yall kick them in the summer doesn't make it any less for yall. 9 more players in the last 4 yrs. 17 more players since 2002 yall have signed.
