It's more likely we hire Joe Paterno tomorrow.

How much have you had to drink? Going to at least be a 50 point win for Bama.

What if Saban quits mid-game to go coach Tennessee with Bill Belechick and Jon Gruden???

Bama won't lose to hogs. Why even discuss it

What would be poetic justice is that if LSU and Bama were both undefeated and steamrolling over every opponent ( i say both, not just Bama) and LSU were to lose to Bama in November, and then we would all have to wonder what LSU's position be if both OU and LSU end up 11-1.

Bama could lose two and still be in playoffs..

Maybe if Bama won the SEC and had a good strength of schedule. FSU and LSU are really bringing Bama's strength of schedule down. I think Bama has to be undefeated to make the playoffs this year. I can easily see other one loss conference champs getting the nod over a one loss SEC Champ this year.

This is such a hypothetical.

Alabama would still be in because they would not lose that game.

period.

The 3rd ranked team in a conference does not deserve to play for the national championship when there are 5 power conferences and no playoff system. End of story. There is no argument.

Alabama was politicized into the game to provide a strong argument for the playoff system to exist. (Btw the argument was the BCS put an undeserving team in the championship game)

If we want to play the eye test game then LSU should just go to Omaha every year, and rest during the SEC tournament and regionals. Why bother with regionals and supers? They pass the eye test during the regular season. Of course not having to play those games would somehow be a disadvantage to LSU like not playing in the SEC championship game was for bama in 2011.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all it will be the most Brett Bielma thing to do. The irony would be that most hog fans would reverse their stance on his buyout. It would be glorious to watch

If LSU had lost then it would have sucked knowing we were better than every other team, but we still would not have deserved to play in the national championship game.

Another issue I have is if we had lost I doubt we would not have played in the NC game because LSU is not a media darling on the scale of bama. There would not have been near as much political push to get us in that game.

As interesting as it would be to watch Arkansas beat bama, in recent history bama has almost always handled Arkansas even when Arkansas had very good teams

I think LSU beats Arky bad this year.

Alabama will...
well what is a stronger word than annihilate? Whatever that is, Bama will do that.

Was USCe ranked when they beat Alabama back when Mcelroy was QB?

The year everyone had a bye before bama

Well, the writing is very plainly on the wall at this point, and it's about the only thing I can imagine that would actually give people pause. So it could easily happen to Arkansas. It's like when you don't think things around here can get any crazier, they do.

But then he'd probably still be fired anyways and it's starting to look like he has lost the team.

Preposterous

But judging by some of the posts this week, they'll be lucky to get past LSU
