Let's see, the "power of the West" aka the Pac 12 has had 2 encounters with the SEC. The results:

LSU - 41
Washington - 3

Missouri - 24
Arizona State - 20

Easy to talk trash when Oregon probably doesn't have to play Alabama now. You know deep down you're sighing in relief knowing that Oregon will get to face a Big 12 team or ND.

Oregon's schedule has been RIDICULOUSLY soft. The Pac 12 is shite.

Oregon would lose at least 2 games with Florida's schedule.

I know you're fired up about your team, but realistically - Bama's 2 RBs would gash your D for about 400 yards. Cal tore you up last night and Bama's RBs and OL are light years better than Cal's.

Whew! How did Oregon manage to go unbeaten against that schedule? Murderers Row right there

You obviously have not been following college football at all over the past 10 years.

Every single year, we hear about some high flying offense from some other conference and how they would put up flashy numbers on the top SEC team. Every year we see the Top SEC team shut down that high flying offense.

SEC teams beat up on each other, but when the best plays a team from outside of the conference they shine.

I've seen Saban, Meyer, Miles, and even Chizik coached SEC teams clamp down on high flying offenses from other conferences every time they face them in big games.

You give Saban a month to prepare for Oregon and Oregon won't get over 300 yards of offense and won't score over 17 points. Bama easily scores over 30 on the Ducks. Same for LSU.

So, you think Oregon would go undefeated in the SEC? If you say "yes," then go jump into traffic.

I get so GD tired of hearing about Oregon, and Notre fricking Dame. Play a Top 25 schedule, and then let me know ya'll fare. Yeh, I'm mad bro.

The key to beating Oregon is keeping the Offense off the field. Bama, LSU and a few others could do this.

Oregon is definitely better this year though BUT your D gave up 51 to USC and 34 to Arkansas St for heavens sake.

Please stop with this shite

Oregon has to play a tougher schedule than Bama thus far...

When I said Oregon's passing game could expose Alabama's secondary. Just think if A&M (which has a similar offense to the ducks) could put up 30 points on Bama, Then imagine a team with MORE talent, and a much better defense could do to Bama. Honestly The ducks would win by 17 or so points and put up over 35. To bad we won't get to face them. Looks like Oregon K-State natty game.

1. Oregon benefits from a soft schedule. The Pac-12 is terrible this year.

2. Texas A&M's defense is better than Oregon's. That's true from both a statistical standpoint and the opinions of everyone who isn't a delusional Oregon homer.

3. A&M has the best two offensive tackles in the nation. If there's an overall talent gap between Oregon and A&M, which I am skeptical of, it isn't much, and it certainly isn't in the trenches. A&M isn't the small, soft Pac-type or Mizzou type spread team - A&M is winning the LOS with amazing O-line talent and that's contributing to A&M's success as much as anything else. A&M may be a spread formation team, but the Aggies excel at old-man football fundementals where it matters most. That's not true of Oregon. Oregon is a finesse team.

I'm as big of Aggie fan as anyone but we benefited from Bama's defense having to prepare for and play against LSU's power offense the prior week and then try to switch over to our fast paced spread offense the next....

If they have a month to prepare for the scheme and speed, I think they have more success. They are a great defense and we jumped out on them and took advantage early in the game.

Also, its ridiculous to assume Oregon has more talent on offense. Maybe on more talent on defense but we've performed fairly well on that side of the ball.

At this point in the season, I would LOVE to see you play aTm. I cant stand JFF but he would make your defense look like a pee wee team.
