Scoring leaders in the NFL never include QBs. Well at least through Madden 08

Not true. The ACTUAL points (the score) is assigned to the person in the end zone. The quarterback gets credit for throwing a touchdown pass but he does not get credit for the points themselves.

That is how the NFL tabulates scoring, that’s why 45 yr old kickers are always at the top of the all time scoring list and not QB’s that have thrown 500 TDs

That’s insane Alabama hasn’t scored a point. With all the RB’s they have had you would have thought they should have had one for sure.
