For the amount of talent A&M has on their roster and the amount they shell out for coaches, they are clearly underachieving. You guys were talking about championships in the off-season and you’re 4-3 in conference. But that’s kind of the Texas A&M history in a nutshell.

Jimbo's first "talented" class were juniors this year. This freshman class we have is lights out though, I ain't gonna lie.

Losing to LSU would definitely be underperforming.

Just because your program is a shite show doesn't mean the league is, Mr. 3-28.

I think Vandy should be a no-fly zone for this topic. They have a graduation success rate of 95%. Besides Stanford, and even them not that often, you can't be successful if you're graduating that many players.

Ole Miss is in great position to play for a NY6 bowl game for the first time since 2015, after a lot of those seasons in between now and then have been pretty forgettable.

I'd say that's quite an improvement.

Arkansas will likely finish 8-4 and ranked in the top 20 after the regular season and Kentucky has potential to finish with 10 wins and finished second in the East. Also should be considered improvements.

There's really no one in any conference looking great other than UGA and maybe tOSU.

I don’t know if I have ever seen such a drop off like this before - even A&M isn’t really that great of a program either though so it’s really just Bama and UGA

Tennessee was a total rebuild job. I'd say we're looking much more competitive right now than we have in recent years.

SECW is as deep as it's ever been. Every program but LSU seems to be on solid footing. Even Auburn seems well coached, they just need to improve the roster.

Don't be a bitch loser like LSU and pretend everyone sucks just because you lost a few games.

Complaining about injuries isn't going to get you much sympathy from schools like Arkansas and State where the team depth is about as thin as a paper plate this year.

Lack of game-ready depth equals losses in the SECW. That's not complaining it's just the way it is in a division this deep. Our backup QB wasn't ready to play. Our oline wasn't experienced enough coming into the year. We have 2 L's to show for it. We aren't looking for sympathy, that's just the way it goes. This division is unforgiving of those kind of shortcomings.

Hopefully Jimbo learns from this season, and puts more attention on getting backups more reps when he can going forward. He definitely did a better job of that against PVAMU last Saturday than he has in other blowout games the last few years.

Bama has been more vulnerable this year since 2007. If you can't see that, you haven't been watching. Close wins against LSU, UF, and Arkansas is not something you'd normally see.

It doesn’t mean Bama is in decline after just one year. And Bama is still is playoff contention. It’s not like they’re 7-4 right now. If it was 2-3 years in a row like this or Bama was actually just above average this year, you’d have a point.

They lost almost all their major contributors from the best offense in school history as well their two best defensive players last year. Previous defending NC Bama teams didn’t lose this much talent.

This team actually has some in common with the 2014 team. That team had numerous close wins and sloppy games versus unranked teams. They could’ve easily finished the regular season 9-3 if even the punter wasn’t great.

When State, OM, and Arky are on the level with AU and LSU: “errybody sucks.”

Doesn’t Arkansas have more wins this season alone than they’ve had in their last 3 combined?
