Yet they both have won national titles and outside of Bama, spent most of the time knocking the rest of yalls dicks in the dirt. Must suck to watch Orgeron and Les lift a trophy. Keep melting. Geaux Tigers!

I'd actually argue that Les Miles was a good football coach. A goofball definitely, but not an idiot.
Chizik was in over his head but hired an amazing staff that won him a national championship at Auburn. Ed Orgeron has similar coaching ability to Gene Chizik. Both men are very good recruiters who lucked into an amazing situation with GOAT-caliber QBs. Their staffs, however, made their respective national championship teams go. They were smart enough not to get in the way.

They both won their titles early in their tenure at LSU.
The longer Les Stayed, the dumber he got. Same will happen to Orgeron. It's just the nature of LSU.

Orgeron isn't hardheaded, nor stuck in the past, like Les Schembechler was..huge difference.
