I guess they didn't mention that when the game was on the line, in overtime, your hero TRich went backwards. I'm sure thy left that out. It's funny that Verne and Danielson had his Heisman moment against Auburn. Really? West Monroe High School has a better run defense than Auburn. Ha. All that said TRich is the bet offensive player in the country. Just imagine him running behind LSU's offensive line with and actually #1 reciever( RRandle) to back the secondary off instead of a 5'8 midget whim can't field a punt and blames it on imaginary wires that don't deflect the ball onto a new trajectory but actually ,against physics, speeds up and lengthen the punt.

Our bad, we thought this trophy was supposed to go to the BEST college player.

if that were the case then Mathieu would've had it locked up weeks ago

I really like Trent Richardson he should win the heisman a tough mofo and he gave LSU a lot more credit that the ESPN Experts blowing him. He is the only thing that scares me about Bama when we play them.

Said against LSU he was a man amongst boys and with enough carries could've had over 100+ and OC forgot to use his best weapon.

How many TD's did this "man among boys" have against that dominating LSU defense?!!!!

Actually, "The Heisman Memorial Trophy Award (usually known colloquially as the Heisman Trophy or the Heisman), is awarded annually to the player deemed the most outstanding player in collegiate football. "

To those saying Bama would have the same record without Trent, or RG3 deserves it because he means the most to his team, it is NOT an MVP award. I'm not saying this definitely means TR deserves it. Just informing you what the award is actually for.
I get this and all - but RG3 is the most outstanding player in collegiate football. The fact that Baylor would suck w/o him goes to show how outstanding he is.

Richardson only averaged 3.9 yards per carry against LSU... pretty average... maybe even a little below average for an average RB. For a Heisman candidate? Pretty low.
