The pitcher shall be charged with a balk if, while in contact with the rubber, he throws to a fielder who is either in front of or behind first or third base and obviously not making an attempt at retiring the runner at that base. However, there is no violation if the pitcher throws the ball directly to first or third base in this situation.

Get ready for multiple personal attacks and of course the incredible claim that missed calls don't matter. I also saw 2 facemasks that were not called. Not saying it changed the outcome, but I believe it's time to upgrade the officiating

People respond with name calling and changing the subject. I guarantee you players and coaches recognize bad calls from the side lines and voice their complaints during the game.
A call or 2 may be justified but when they get every call that's a trend. Suspicious I might add.

Hand fighting is one thing, but outright holding a receiver that has you beat has to be a flag. Also Fitzpatrick interfered with Chark when he injured himself. The play where Toliver got beat the ball hit the ground. Guice was down before he got stripped.
There were at least 2 coaches ahead of Orgeron on LSU's want list but they chose not to come to LSU.

Prior to 2000 LSU did not consistently have top 5 recruiting classes. I can recall many blue chippers that got away. Additionally, LSU recruits out of state much better. I would also wager that the recruiting budget is much larger than it was prior to the stadium additions.

I thought he blew out his knee, but it was a dislocated hip. Saban says he had it reduced and he is OK. I believe the complications are related to vascular or nerve damage. He will need to rehab the injury with ortho FU.

On the ESPN special about SMU they said that Bryant attempted to recruit Craig James' GF to Bama (I don't know if it's true but it was reported on the documentary.). I wonder what the rules are for recruiting non football players like girlfriends. If no rules LSU should go after the GF.
