I don't think it was all that risky. Harden can for sure play, regardless of what he did in the Finals.

Morey is a "moneyball" guy. He can put together some good teams even without a superstar.

Their next move is to go after a superstar-type player. They have the cash to do it. And when they do, the Rockets will be a force.

Linsanity was fun to watch. Some unknown kid just lighting it up out of nowhere.

I think I know your type. You are a contrarian. Lin was getting all of this hype, and you had to do the opposite. You had to say he was overrated. You couldn't wait for him to suck.

But then he never did actually suck. Then the Rockets signed him to a pretty decent contract. And now you are pissed that Linsanity never really stopped.

It's pathetic.

What are you talking about? Right in the middle of his big streak there was a big build-up about the Knicks playing the Lakers.

What did Lin do?

Scored a career high 38 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.

Think about it.

Many of the guys on Alabama's team are going to play in the NFL.

Many of those guys will be starters.

And some of their players will be better than the "worst starters" in the NFL.

Some might even be stars.

They may be able to compete.
